There are quite a few of them. Their high adhesive power is so impressive that they stick to metal objects so well. It would be like a 6 for them. A score of 5 or 7 out of 10 is good I know that.
The size of the jar affects the amount that can fit, but if it's for spices, I believe it would.

I have attached a couple of these magnets to the cab of my motorhome along with a couple of pieces of metal art. A few magnets were attached to 1" wood discs (purchased from Amazon), & other magnets were attached to a white board. Fill the rest of the cap with styrofoam and a light weight recycled 1 1/2" plastic cap. The room was decorated with stickers (100th birthday ones from Amazon). Whether it is an unfinished magnet or a finished (as described) magnet, it can hold three standard 20 weight computer paper (2 sheets slide along the bottom) or a 5X7 greeting card (the card and I used was an Amazon birthday gift card). At the top center of the magnet, there was a small hole. I like the quality, the way they were packaged (strong) and how they answered my questions Due to these magnets, I was able to complete a craft project successfully. More were bought and they're on their way The product is excellent. I will buy it.
I would like to say that your essay is excellent. Throughout my childhood, I have always enjoyed playing with magnets because of the movement they exhibit and the scientific experiments they allow. The set I purchased is a toy set that I like to play with when I have free time. I wish I could go back to childhood and use these experiments I used to do when I was a child. I glued these magnets between two layers of felt fish and they worked perfectly. The youngest grandchild plays with them on the refrigerator, while the older child uses a washer on a string as a fishing pole. It is a very strong group. The photo shows me stacking a number of them on top of one another. Either Elmers glue or white glue did the trick. It was great to see these! I needed something stronger than the cheap kitchen magnets from the grocery store and these worked great. A set of four is strong enough to hold up just about any poster size object.
