These stainless steel thimbles are of excellent quality and fit my 1/2" stainless steel cable perfectly. This purchase has left me extremely pleased. The pilings will be used to connect four 12" dia. ice breaks on the St. Clair River. After 30 years of service, this galvanized cable is being replaced, and the equipment should be in good working order after 60.

I used this antenna stinger to screw up a ham antenna on 40 m because it's strong and flexible enough to fit a 5/16 eyebolt

It took a few plier twists to separate the ends enough to attach the eye bolt, but it bent back without it.
