I'd rather have a soft brush than stiff bristles are round and generally less than 3/4 inch in diameter, while covering a surface area of about 3 inches

In terms of size, the brush measures 8 3/4 in. from end to end. The bristles of this brush are stiff I was looking for exactly what you provided. Even though the handle is a bit short, the loop at the end is perfect for slipping a finger into and gripping vigorously as you brush! It is likely that twisted metal wire will rust eventually since it is not painted or coated.
