It worked great for my swimming pool despite not being marketed as such I even found white powered soda ash for it There are other products that could cost twice or more than this one if they included a "For Swimming Pool" description. This product was as described, it's a thick bag and was intact. It is (99%) pure soda ash, which is exactly what I wanted, but is already online so I can't comment further. The only reason I gave it only four stars is because the bag isn't resealable, and instead I prefer a canister or tub. It's still a good deal for the amount that's being asked.
