The best material for electroforming is not good

The electroforming jewelry didn't work well because of its medical applications, but I'm not sure what scientific applications would be good for it. A dark teal color grew on it, had a crust on top and I was burning things. It has been a few days since I ordered from Rio Grande, and I haven't Since I believe that the concentration would not be appropriate for plating jewelry but would still work for other applications, I have given it.
