According to online search, the diameter of the straw for 1/2 Cc is approximately 2mm (found that online), then by using the diameter of our canister of 35 mm, we This is about 240 when (35/2)*2/(2*2) is multiplied by 14. It is recommended to measure the diameter of each straw and do the math as the diameters may differ.
This is actually a styrofoam plug that fits in the top of the aluminum and is what seals the top. There is a styrofoam plug at the top of the container that is covered with a plastic lid instead of aluminum. You will not be able to break it unless you drop it on its head, and even without the plastic, it should operate freely.
A transport dewar is required. This tank is not appropriate for transport, as it contains an absorbent that prevents excess liquid nitrogen from spilling out if it tips Additionally, both the inner and outer container of a shipping dewar make it more robust, making the welds more resistant to losing integrity as the vessel moves. Even though you can move the box a little when it is full, a commercial carrier will not accept it.

So far everything seems fine, though I still have to fill it out. It is only the lid that covers the cork that is a problem. We need a replacement "clock cover" because it's broken on the hinge side. Can you help us with that? Part number LNT03- is listed on the inside of the package In February 2019, ** Update** A replacement cap was sent to me within a week after I emailed USSolid directly. This company has provided a very good service to me. I put 3L of nitrogen in the dewar and still had some remaining Purchased this item and am very pleased with it. This rating has been changed to 5 stars from 3 stars.
During Burning Man, it was used for making LN2 ice cream on the beach. I found the dewar at AirGas to be very straightforward and I was able to fill it several times I left it out in the desert for 5 days and it hardly evaporated. I like the use of the styrofoam insert which provides a good deal of insulation for the bottle top. We were able to accomplish our goal all in all. The specimen holders were not used.
For an experiment, I filled this dewar with LN at the start of the year (January 9th). A little bit of the food was left over after we finished the cooking, so we decided to see how long it would last before it began to evaporate. There's still a small amount of liquid in the bottom, three months after it began (March 9th as of the writing of this article). This little 10L dewar has been keeping ice for more than 3 months, and I was amazed when I saw it. An unqualified 10.
My love for these dewars led me to buy two for $600 each. The thought of going with another brand crossed my mind. I rolled the dice thinking I was taking a chance. As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for. ". The statement isn't true in this instance. During this time, the U. S. This 10 L dewar/tank is of the same high quality that the last two that I have It has been 2 weeks since I have used the tanks with no issues. Good holding properties for LN.
In my experience, it is pretty easy to maintain the temperature of the liquid nitrogen, although the storage cups and ladle are a bit awkward to use, as they tend to get caught together when inserting or removing things. Other than that,.
I find this liquid nitrogen container to be very simple to use. My intent is not to use the canisters, but I did need a Dewar to enjoy liquid nitrogen. My needs are perfectly satisfied with this product, as it pours very smoothly, does not spill, and doesn't slosh in shipping.
This is a very good container that has low loss rates. There is a slot on the bottom of the container to grab when you're This liquid nitrogen was used to demonstrate the principles of buoyancy and gas laws for my physics labs.
As well as for cooling my rocket parts, I use this for It has a great life in terms of LN2 inside. Only downside is the one canister it comes with that is solid on the bottom, and it might leak. It's easily fixed, however, with a bit of epoxy. (It breaks off from the temperature fluctuations, but if it gets into the creases it stays in. The canisters in the tank are tossed into it like they were no big deal, it took me 10 minutes to remove them all.
Apart from that, I thought it was great.
