The chances of it being usable or not are 50/50. You can see the photos here! I was impressed by how quickly these arrived and how well they were packaged. It's at that point that the good ends. There has never been a time when quality was so bad. These are unusable due to the countless defects, flaws, and inclusions they contain. The cover plates arrived dirty, with what appears to be slag embedded deeply in them. Regardless of what's embedded in your beaker, it will end up there. In the end, the food would be The Karter Scientific phone number was not working, so I tried to call again. It was not possible to reach anyone because a message had been Following my call, I was contacted by a member of staff who was both friendly and helpful. As soon as they received the second set of cover plates, another set was sent. As a result, the second set of covers were not nearly as badly damaged as the first. I think they were cleaner this time, some of the edges still had chips, and there were still some flaws throughout that could catch your fingernail (and whatever else you splashed on them). However, this time they were not The update has been made to reflect the.
These are NOT suitable for craft use AT ALL! I use them for crafts and they do not hold up well for crafts! Deep scratches cover the glass, some have bubbles or imperfections around the rim, and the worst part of all is the film that cannot be removed regardless of how hard you scrub! If the lids are for scientific use I am sure they are fine, but if they are for craft use DONT CARE! very frustrating when an order is due in a short time frame and over half of the order is invalid. It's not my intention to be harsh, but I don't want anyone else to suffer the same frustration as me!.
The domes weren't realized until now, but it's all my fault!
But it's all better now! Using these to convert the tops of 120mm petri dishes into extra bottoms and their domed shape to fit the pour-over technique. I just happened to have a 1000ml beaker with a perfect lip. The product is versatile and at a great price!.
I like the way they're made and how they look.
It is hard to believe, but tiny flies can find a glass of (whatever I'm drinking) quicker and in higher concentrations than you might think. Place one of these over the top of your beer between drinks to stop them from drinking it. They may also be used for weighing dishes, for evaporating dishes, for covering beakers (or perhaps even for protecting watch dials), or for whatever needs you may have. The only one I broke was the wrong one (hit the bench just wrong, oopsy-" I was sworn in the following morning, not the day before.
In my case, the UPS guy at the post office didn't like me, so my box was crushed "not the sellers fault". It was still covered in grinding powder on all the glasses and the edges were chipped on a few of them.
Since I cleaned most of them with a mild acid and soap, I found that they had surface scratches.
These glasses do not contain Borosilicate glass as some reviewers claim instead they contain Flint glass as described in the product For the purpose I am using them for, I have discarded two glasses, but I am using the rest. It will be a good idea to refrain from using them when raising Those that are defective or used twice should be marked accordingly.
In case one of the packs becomes damaged, make sure you buy two more.
The boxes were well packaged and came in a small size. Each watch glass had a thin sheet of paper between it, and there was enough extra to protect the whole stack. I did not find any bubbles or scratches in any of mine, nor did the ground edges exhibit any roughness. I have used these covers in beakers to keep bubbling liquids from splashing out and to prevent liquid from escaping.
