Due to the fact that our bulb (as well as others in this category) is designed to hold powder products like diatomaceous earth, the actual ounce size would be 5 ounces when normal and 6 ounces if tamped down. I use my sprayer every day, so it always becomes clogged. It puts out powder at a rate of about six times per day when not clogged Here are 8 squeezes for you! Is there anything I should be doing differently?

If you are using a direct line, remove the pick up tube at the bulb end. *br> *br>If you are spraying only from a downward position, remove the pick up tube at the bulb end. Once the powder is sprayed/dispersed, squeeze the bulb again and repeat. As soon as the bulb is squeezed flat, allow it to fill back up with air so it can regain its normal size before you squeeze It will allow each disbursement of powder to be utilized to its full potential. It contains thin dust and you will not waste Diatomaceous Earth since it disperses quickly in fine pieces. It is a small device that does not require a lot of space. To make my wish come true, I will make the wand twice as long and the bulb twice as large as it is. However, I am pleased with the outcome as it stands.

When I first saw this item, I fell in love with it. In my garden, I have been using it every couple of weeks for about four months to apply DE. In contrast, today I noticed that the DE was not coming out of the nozzle at the end, but was coming out of the metal neck. The seam on the neck has a split that is allowing the DE to escape. When I inspected it closer, I saw the DE was escaping. It doesn't seem that this item is durable enough, and now that my return window has expired, I cannot I consider this item to be a bit more expensive than its quality and durability. Attached you will find a picture showing the section of the metal neck that is open.
What a great job, oh what a great job! My favorite thing about this lamp is the With this applicator I can reach into areas where I normally could not reach. The bulb is easy to assemble, the bulb feels good in hand (I dare say pleasant), and the long applicator is nice so I can comfortably apply it over my face. When I used the product, there were no issues with clogging, although I did shake it often as instructed. There could be a larger funnel, so that filling the bulb is easier. Another minor drawback is that the bulb won't seal properly after filling. In my experience, my first action when I buy a product is to put the box in the recycle bin. Unlike last time, the clever box includes instructions and hints on how to use the item. Plus, it also serves as a handy storage container, so both the box and the product are here to stay. There will be much enjoyment to be had with this product!.
My astonishment at how well and how simple this works is beyond words. (Honey, give me a break. If you are treating someone, wear a mask at all times). Diamateous Earth is food grade - I use it every day I put the powder in this bulb to kill ants, roaches, etc. It's easy to use, it's affordable, and it works. Spiders, ants, slugs get through the tiniest spaces and this gadget will blow the powder into them. You'll love it, love it, The price is well worth it. Using powders does not require purchasing anything else.
In the garden and on our plants, we plan to use this sprayer. The big ball holds enough powder for use on many of our plants without having to refill it repeatedly. I like the light weight and ability to put enough powder in there. It is nice to have the option to point the wand up or down. My next effort will be to test it with a wasps nest. The collapsible funnel on the spray tip and the spray tip cap make this a great product for the price. As it is a great product for what it does, I did not want to give it a bad review, but the product did not meet my expectations. The use of a cyclone might be interesting if you have a small area to cover and a lot of free time, but I'm too impatient for it. There is a medium sized garden I would like to cover with this machine, but it takes too long and is too touchy for me to operate. As I have big meat hooks and I am reasonably strong, I had a difficult time getting a good stream of powder out of the bulb by delicately pressing it. My mouth just filled with piles of spittle all the time. The tiny filling hole needs to be precise even with the funnel, and it takes a long time to fill. In the right hands (and with patience), you can achieve great precision and benefit from the product. I am sure that it will work well if you have the time and patience. Cost is hard to beat. But if you are like me, and want to get the dust onto the ground and plants and move on, I recommend something more aggressive, like the Dust Mizer (it was exactly what I needed).
I found it to be effective. The dust was applied perfectly in a hidden roof line. Don't buy delta dust use Tempo instead. Using it is awesome, and it has been used by the pros for years now. This funnel fits perfectly into its package. I appreciate that it comes with a collapsible funnel so I do not have to hunt around in the garage to find it. Thank you for including the handy rubber cap so that the powder stays dry until I can use it again.
