Questions & Answers

The swivel on the 24" blue industrial closed loop dust mop is said to be locked by a switch. It is not swivelable, according to three people. Is it swivel-able or not?

It does not swivel in any way.

What happens if you use it on concrete?

It will not work well if the concrete is rough. However, if the concrete is smooth and finished, as it is in most warehouses, it works well in narrow aisles. It's great for going through aisles in a warehouse where I work!

Do you have a cotton or microfiber mop head?

It's a synthetic fiber, I believe. Cotton is more like microfiber than microfiber.

It's been almost two years since I bought it. It performs admirably as a dust mop. Sweeping hardwoods is a breeze with this tool. What used to take up to 25 minutes can now be completed in less than five minutes. Our ground floor is hardwood/luxury vinyl planking, and we have two dogs. Every day, we collect a good amount of hair, debris, and dust. Keeping up with this mop is a breeze. br>br>Unlike our microfiber wet mop, the mop does not swivel. As a result, it is unable to enter small spaces such as between tables/couches or in and around toilets. However, because it is stiff, it has a rigid'mop' action, allowing you to turn and keep the mop head in constant contact with the surface. It's width is just over half the length of a standard hallway, so I can sweep it in as little time as it takes me to walk (or jog) down the hall and back. It takes less than a minute to finish a 15-foot-by-12-foot living room. br>br>Standard 24" dust mop heads are easily compatible with this model. It's machine washable, but I wouldn't put it in a towel load because cotton lint will stick to it. If at all possible, let the clothes air dry. br>br>This dust mop is best for cleaning large, open areas. Cleaning small nooks and crannies with a broom or vacuum is preferable.

For large wood floor areas, this is ideal. The handle is adjustable, but it slides down when in use, so I'm docking one star. It will not lock into the size I'm attempting to use. That's about it. It's fantastic!.

Dust Mop is fantastic! This dust mop is something I really like

It's perfect for my hardwood floors. It's simple to clean, as long as you shake out the dust. So far, I haven't had to clean them. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't swivel. I didn't expect it to bother me, but it is a little inconvenient.

Both the 36" wood handle and the 24" aluminum handle dust mops are in my collection. br>This one appeals to me a lot - The handle can be adjusted in length, and it is thick and comfortable to hold.
