Would you mind telling me where you can find more I seem to have a constant problem with mine. The manufacturer sent me 12 of these, but 10 are broken or leaking. ?

Replacing the batteries was easy all we had to do was call the manufacturer.

Has it been made of HDPE?

A hard plastic is used to make this. The term refers to a product we use to store This bottle does not leak and it can easily be filled.

What is the difference between the valve shown in the picture and the screw cap for that port on the container?

The answer is no. The two top screw caps and the valve are all there are. It works just fine. The can can be sat upwards if you don't want to have any flow. There is no leak in the valve.

There are 6 leaks at the screw threads of each lever, according to the 10/17/16 service report. In the meantime, I'm going to try plumber's tape and will report back
10/28/16 Despite a few failures, two of six were fixed by plumber's tape. My request was to have them replaced, preferably by another lot of the same manufacturer. All six of them arrived the next day, from a different warehouse, and are perfectly functional - I did not find any I received an Amazon gift card. Thanks, Amazon!.

Jug is in excellent condition, no leaks

It's a little pricey, but it meets my needs. You got tired of leaks coming from dispensing jugs. These worked for you. As of now, there has been no leakage. There is no need to remove the spigot to fill. I find that to be great. There is a fill cap on the bottle. I anticipate this to stay drip free for some time to come.

I think it's worth it

A bit pricy, but definitely worth it. It met all my expectations and was a great strength. A number of them I've purchased for a variety of reasons. I think it is worth it due to the quality although it is somewhat pricey.
