This nozzle has a 1-inch outer diameter. 3/16"

Will this work with a standard size car filler neck like the ones at a gas station? I have a Jeep and inside the filler neck there is a reducer; will this work with a standard size car filler neck like the ones at a gas station?

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Because all gas nozzles are the same size, our fuel nozzle will fit. In case you didn't know, I found this to explain. The nozzles for gas and diesel are different (for cars and pickups), with the diesel nozzle being larger to avoid accidentally putting diesel in a gas tank. The nozzles on the diesel pumps on semis are even bigger. If you have any additional concerns, please contact me.

Is this nozzle intended for unleaded gasoline in small cars?

Yes. Both the 3/4" nozzle and the wetted materials are designed to work with unleaded fuel and are safe to use in passenger cars. The nozzle can also be used with either unleaded or diesel fuel.
