It looks like chain saw teeth. I have trimmed palm branches, so I don't know if it's sharp or not.

Does the chain have teeth on both sides and how long is it?

Despite this, it seems to work very effectively. There is a flaw in the design
3/5

A professional woodsman with more than 60 years of experience removing tree limbs, I can offer tree limb removal services. In my first use of a high limb rope saw, I cut through several trees. I have given up on more than one occasion trying to get the chain on the right side of this product. 1)I find it very difficult to get the chain on the right side of this product. It is not worth the time. I will go to foreign manufacturers who produce blades on both sides so I don't waste time trying to get the chain to flip on the right side. 2) The main cause of jams is not the chain, but the rope getting stuck in the It is necessary to have some type of large bulb to keep the rope from getting into If the chain was longer, it would take less time and less jamming to cut high branches. 3) The chain itself is too short if it were longer, the cutting would be much faster with fewer jammings. I can only imagine the profit margin of this chain being I think it would be best if we made it at least 8 We believe that a 24 inch longer computer would be more affordable for the company and more efficient for the end.

Despite some obstacles, I managed to accomplish my goal
3/5

I was required to be patient and persistent. About 25 feet away from the ground was the limb I wished to trim. It was about 7" in diameter and about 7" in diameter. Unlikely to be a typical situation. A bean bag took some time to climb over the branch. After getting the saw part over the limb, it was upside down at first. A little manipulation (snapping the line) was needed to turn it over so that the cutting teeth were in contact with the tree The saw worked for some time before it got stuck for the first time. I was able to get a rope over the branch (using the bean bag that came with the saw) and pull hard enough to open up a little the damaged section. Then it got stuck again, which allowed me to cut a little further. After a while, I had amassed enough cut so that I was able to pull the other rope hard and snap the branch.

It's a great tool to trim trees
4/5

There is nothing better than this saw. On my back yard, I trimmed two branches from another property that had grown into my yard. The saw took a few minutes to line up with the teeth to cut, but once it was, it was simple to cut. It took me no more than seven minutes to bring down two branches about 10 inches across This will take you eight Using this saw saved me a great deal of time and money that I would have lost by paying an Arborist. My only complaint is that it does not come with rope handles.

What a hassle
3/5

We have had a very frustrating experience using this. My saw goes just fine over the branch, but after a while, it flips over, so I have to wrestle with it to get it back upright and the "dance" continues. My saw never even came close to cutting all the way through a small branch.

Definitely recommend it, I will purchase the longer one next time
5/5

Honestly, I've been looking for something like this for a while now, made in the USA so I know it works. There's a lot I like about it. You will notice it has the same blade as a chain saw, but it is manually powered. Cutting that appears impressive, but has a tendency to get stuck from time to time. There have been numerous branches up to 5 inches long that I have taken down. In my opinion, it's a great product. Besides being a great workout, it's also fun. Sawdust is an inexpensive resource that you can make in huge quantities.

The jammers keep on going
3/5

The saw sliced through half of a small tree branch, but it jammed up. It was never possible to get through the entire.

This is garbage, don't waste your time and Two legs are too heavy for her to handle The circle cannot get bound or snapped if it is 3 inches in diameter.

This is a good product
4/5

It takes a little time when the trunk is thick, but it does provide a good workout if you want it to. If it gets stuck, you really need to be patient when removing it from these high.
