I was required to be patient and persistent. About 25 feet away from the ground was the limb I wished to trim. It was about 7" in diameter and about 7" in diameter. There is nothing better than this saw. On my back yard, I trimmed two branches from another property that had grown into my yard. The saw took a few minutes to line up with the teeth to cut, but once it was, it was simple to cut. We have had a very frustrating experience using this. My saw goes just fine over the branch, but after a while, it flips over, so I have to wrestle with it to get it back upright and the "dance" continues. My saw never even came close to cutting all the way through a small branch.

Honestly, I've been looking for something like this for a while now, made in the USA so I know it works. There's a lot I like about it. You will notice it has the same blade as a chain saw, but it is manually powered. Cutting that appears impressive, but has a tendency to get stuck from time to time. There have been numerous branches up to 5 inches long that I have taken down. In my opinion, it's a great product. Besides being a great workout, it's also fun. Sawdust is an inexpensive resource that you can make in huge quantities.
