There is nothing wrong with this chain- it's sturdy and good quality Two of the old pull chains for the ceiling fans were replaced with this chain. I found the clasps to be easy to use and they seem to be stronger than the originals. Thank you for having enough for my back-up I think that it would also be a great idea for kids' necklaces.

Aluminum is not the right material for this This is not a good quality product

It would be a good idea to choose a different metal for necklaces if you intend to use these. Having aluminum as a soft metal means that the connectors start to bend as soon as you put them on. After I felt how light and how easily it could break, I would be embarrassed to send these to any of my customers who buy handmade jewelry from me. In a way, it feels like it's made of.
