ZapCap CRs of the Whatman style are not sterile. The sterile version (104443430) is not CR rated either. Rather than CR, this is sterile Cellulose Acetate, which does not possess the chemical resistance of the CR type of film. We are unable to offer hybrid models.

It didn't work with any of the Nalgene brand filters that I bought

It appeared that the housing wasn't airtight at higher levels. It didn't work with any of the Nalgene brand filters that I bought. Housing was not airtight at higher suction levels, and was also not very resistant to wear. It's easy to do one thing. Nalgene filters are easy to use, but this one did the job twice as well. Difference between the two was as great as night and day. Spend a little more money on these if you intend to filter oily solutions. Save yourself tons of frustration when you follow these steps.

The package was received in four A nice package of sterile bags for each filter. I've used ZapCaps before and they work as well as they ever have. I like it. The bottles do not leak, are excellent for making exact graduations, and seal right up to my media bottles with a small amount of pressure. I prefer these over.
