How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

Molly bolt with a length of 1 1/4" fits in a hole of 1/4" diameter
The sides of the object flare out to attach it to the wall or ceiling
It holds panels up to nineteen sixteenths of an inch thick

Questions & Answers

How about 1/2 walls? Do these work for anyone? It's not going to work. Sheet rock is crushed and mangled when they collapse You need to install one and observe it from the backside. Yikes! ?

A panel of up to 9/16" thick is compatible with this bracket.

Using 1/4"-wide seemed like a good idea to me Was looking for a bolt anchor (in M6 metric size) to mount 20 x 2" bolts. What are the pros and cons of this product?

An anchor is attached with a # 6 screw. A 1/4" bolt cannot be used because the bolt has a diameter of 32.

When the screwhead is tightened, what is its diameter?

Five sixteenths of an inch is the diameter of the screw head.

When the screw is tightened, how long does it stay?

There is a 6/32 x 1 1/2" screw in the box

The software works perfectly
5/5

It was impossible for me to set Molly Bolts in the hole without them "spinning" in it. Therefore, I gave up on using them. By using this tool, you eliminate that issue completely. The tool sets the Molly bolt every time with no issues. I have used it several times with no issue. I would recommend it for purchase and would purchase it again if I had the chance.

The work is great and it is A Molly bolt is a screw that works

A much better alternative to It is important that you get the right tool for the job and that you have the right size to match the thickness of the wall/sheetrock.

It is great to find drywall bolts that actually work! There have been plenty of plastic plugs, screws that took out part of the drywall, nails, and a number of plastic and metal anchors to get me to where I wanted to be
5/5

Now we have a version that is guaranteed to work! Simply drill a 1/4" hole, hammer in the plug, then "prime" it with the gun or device and then tighten it The clamps hold 75 pounds of woodworking material weighed down by four of them. of them are holding a 33" shelf, and a few ended up in the studs. None of them were damaged.

The best quality and the peace of mind you can possibly get! Heavy items can be hung on plaster walls with ease! All was well after I bought the "tool"
4/5

Make sure to test the thickness of the wall or to use a longer Molly rod. I didn't have as thick of a rim, so this one worked.

A little tender loving care
5/5

The screws do not require the "proper tool" to tighten up just use a hand screw driver or cordless drill on low and they work great.

The sheetrock is a good place to hang anything
5/5

Whenever you want to mount something to sheetrock, this is the best method available. With the tool I bought, it was very easy to use. You can then remove the screw and put things up much more securely once the anchors are in place.

The retainers are crap
3/5

This was used to mount a 32" tv to the wall, and they were able to come A new television had to be bought to replace the one that fell, and I had to repair and repaint the drywall in addition to replacing a laptop monitor that was damaged by the TV. It cost me 100 times as much to repair them as it cost me to buy We learned from this experience.

There is no need for anything Whenever I deal with drywall, I will never trust anything else
5/5

As a backup option for screwing directly into the wall studs, I have found molly bolts to be the most secure. The design is very clever and you can rest easy knowing your items will not fall from the wall.
