Combiners, like the one you asked about, would be a better choice. A DSS4N Dinkle jumper is needed if you want this to act as a power or bus distribution bar. The components of a kit come with jumpers, but the products such as this Assembly kit just come with 10 single-wire connectors Terminal blocks can be found in single out Thank you, Clayton, on behalf of the International Connector, Inc., for the opportunity to serve you.
120 V or 220 V AC works fine. This assembly complies with UL 614 for up to 600 volts. It is designed to be used for single in and single out connections. There would have to be jumpers if you wanted it to be a distribution block. There is a jumper included in every "Combiner". You should also look at the Red/Black 10 Gang Assembly Kit DK4N. There are 8 2-inch screws included in the Assembly Kit You can customize it with pole jumpers so you can use it as a distribution block. I only gave it 2 stars because it states it can accommodate 10 AWG (gauge) wire. However, do not use 10 gauge wire as it will not tightly clamp down and will come loose if you touch it / pull it. Frustrating to say the least! In general, I would rate it 4 out of 5 for use with wire sizes 12 to 22 It's a 5 out of 5. There aren't jumpers in it, so this doesn't count as 5.
It would have been easier to order the components I wanted if I could do it all over again. It is a public.
Clearly this would result in an increased cost. Instructions need to note that jumpers will likely be necessary in most cases. This is an excellent tool for small projects.
I had to try these for a college project, and although they are a little smaller than the AB W4 terminal blocks, they are a good alternative if you are not as concerned with the name and they seem to be made in the US, if I remember correctly.
It was of decent quality, but getting 10 awg wire in it proved to be very difficult.
It's well made and of great quality. The project I am working on is good.
Do not rely on the jumpers if you haven't checked them twice.
There are a lot of parts in here, so it's a great little kit to save money on separate orders.
