Only copper wire is authorized to be used for this design, as specified by the manufacturer, Wago. These knockoffs are not permitted to be sold or used in the United States. European wiring, copper or aluminum, may be German, German, or EU.
It is clear that these are not UL approved. The Wagos in question are counterfeit. Make sure that you don't fall for a scam.
When the lever is pulled - They are marked "CE", which is a European mark that guarantees safety, conformity, etc., so there are no UL or CSA marks. Was also under the impression that they were WAGO products, but am not so sure now, they could be knockoffs, i've used some of them, they
Certainly, they should be enclosed in an outdoor UL listed electric box, as they should be for any outdoor electrical connection.

I bought this product to join stranded wires. Despite their usefulness, wire nuts are not always reliable and are usually not guaranteed to work. Here, you simply open the lever, insert the wire, and closing the lever is all you need to do. Everything looks simple, and the connection seems secure. The conductors all seem to be under pressure as well. Taking one apart, I saw that it is clamped to the wire, but I could not find a current rating on these. I tried looking at the side and all I could find was 32A 250V/4KV molded in. is hard to describe the mechanism here, but when the lever is pressed down, a spring loaded gate is opened, allowing a wire to pass through. When the lever is closed, the gate is released, allowing the wire to act as a spring. This connection mechanism is fairly stiff and the gate bites into the copper quite deeply. Getting a wire out of a hole isn't likely to be a simple task.
I was shown these connectors by an electrician I hired to do some work in a rental property I own. As far as I can remember, any type of wire connection I have used required you to twist the wire onto or push it into the connector. easier to use and so much better than the old ones. In a twist type, the wires must be twisted together first, and then the cap is twisted on to the wires, then the cap is wrapped with electrical tape. There were times when some of the wires would not catch, so I would have to take it apart and put them back together. Unless you need to remove the wire for some reason, push in type connectors are great. If you need to remove the wire for some reason, you either remove the connector, or toss the wire in the trash without replacing With these levers, you can The nuts are not only reusable, but can also be used to connect standard wire and stranded wire. this the fact that all you have to do is insert the wires and press the clip down and then you're done. can skip using electrical tape if you wish, although old habits make it impossible for me to do so. It is my opinion that there are no better electrical connectors on the market. Having said that, I could only wish they sold these locally, but since I can easily order them off of Amazon, there isn't much to complain about. I only had an issue with the packaging because the clip to close it was missing, and the box they came in was broken. However, it is not too big of a deal overall. This is a great set of tools for both DIYers and pros.
In order to change a number of light fixtures, I purchased a variety of light Wire nuts have been part of my life for over 20 years, and I have a rather large All that remains is for them to gather dust. Taking up less space and being fast to install, nuts are a great choice. about them is that when there are more than two wires to connect they are much more convenient and faster than the old wire nuts. Give them a try I hope you are pleased with them.
As soon as I discovered that I had to really pull on the release levers, everything went smoothly. Wire nuts have always annoyed me, especially in crowded junction boxes. I have used them for 40 years and always hated them. The worked really hard to make a near impossible job in a really awkward situation possible. These LEDs were used as part of an LED The wiring of a heating system would not be something I would trust them with.
It is the best connector on the market, but all of the four connectors are defective. They are all 20, every single one.
An instrument box that monitored generator performance was part of the project. One big advantage is that the wires can be pulled away without causing any A solid wire can cause the device to spin around the wire, such that the connection appears loose but it is not pulling out of the device. There is a lot of controversy on youtube about the safety of these devices.
They seem to hold up well with solid or stranded wire. For my projects, these have proven to be far superior to wire nuts and at a fraction of the price of similar wago brand You should keep that in mind if you purchase these. These are not UL listed. There are probably fewer of us home than I would like to think- It is also helpful for gamers to check the UL status of their wire nuts.
These are for a remote electronic ignition system I use The wires can be held in place using both the lower gauge (heavier wire) and higher gauge(thinner wire) without any problems, even after my helpers trip over the wires and pull them after the connection. Unlike twisting and taping every connection (this is all low voltage), this is so much easier, cleaner, and more secure! Definitely recommend to anyone who performs tasks that require them to switch out wires quite.
