Make sure the wire is inserted as far as it will go and that the lever is pressed all the way back to its original position. br>I read other threads where people said the wires pulled right out of the lever nut when they used these. They couldn't have stripped and inserted the wires into the lever nut properly. A "tug test" was performed on every wire I connected to a lever nut. br>The first photo shows the wires for the air handling unit as they were installed by the contractor with wire nuts. br>The second photo shows the same wires after I redid them with lever nuts.

I was asked to write this review by the seller via email, so here it is. br>I thought these would be better than the ones where you just insert the wire, but I was mistaken. I lightly tugged on both solid and braided wires to test the connection, and the wires immediately pulled out. I was extremely dissatisfied with them and contemplated returning them. Now, if you put the wire in and lay it out in such a way that no one could ever pull on it, it might work fine; I'm looking for something that a two-year-old can't pull apart. (This is just an example; no children would be near the wires).

These are what I've been using at work for wiring projects. On solid wire, they save a lot of time over wire nuts, but on stranded wire, you should crimp your wire end with a terminal ferrule first, which is an extra step but still preferable to wire nuts. It's quicker and easier than holding three or four wires together to get them started in the nut, especially if you're working with short wires. br>br>I am very pleased.

It's very attractive and simple to use. They will take the place of the Ideal push-button controls. I used to use wire nuts to connect the wires. These are particularly useful because the wires can be easily removed and reused by simply lifting the orange lever. Lift the orange lever, insert the wire, and close the lever again to complete the installation. Make sure the wire is securely fastened by tugging on it. If it isn't, try again by lifting the lever.

It's uncommon to come across something truly superior- These connectors are brand new these days. 12-year-olds were used as test subjects. Both multi-gauge and 22 gauge single and stranded wires - All of them are extremely dependable. Also, and perhaps more importantly - They can be used again and again: Clamp and unclamp with a lot of force. Love them.

I like that I can use all of the different wire sizes in the same connector and that there is no wire folding while inserting. br>I didn't care for the fact that I only had one lever brake when I first lifted it, but I've only had one so far.
