I gave it a 'B+' because it was fixed on a Macbook power cord, and it was a great price
4/5

To fix a Macbook power cord, I searched Google for a shrink tube that was the right size. Here is the item I found. In the pictures you can see I had quite a bad tear in the insulation, and ordinary electrical tape tends to stick to itself and get grummy over time, so it's not a good solution. In order to prevent burning the connector or cable, I used a heat gun to shield the exposed cable next to the sheink tube with metal pieces. It works great, except that the tubing does not seem very tightly gripped at the end where it grips the cable. However, the end at the connector is fine. I was afraid that I might burn the cable or cook the tubing, so I was cautious. Overall, we give the project a B+ for the final result and an A+ for the.

For a tinkerer, it works great! My favorite circuits are those with LEDs, and I tinker with them quite a lot
5/5

Using fuel line from a small engine as insulation was recommended by a gaming friend, and it worked perfectly. In addition, there are times when space is an issue with some of the small projects, and fuel lines are too thick and bulky. In this case, we will be using heat shrink materials. It is thin enough to fit into small spaces, however it is wide enough to cover wires and bare leads with ease. My order of this stuff has been repeated a few times and I will continue to order it whenever I run out, I find the size to be convenient.

Apple cord reinforcement made easy with this product
5/5

It works perfectly for substandard Apple cords that tend to break easily, to reinforce the cord when it appears to be deteriorating. You won't have to spend another $20+ dollars on another subpar Apple cord with this. I highly recommend it! By stretching it and looping it over the area you want to reinforce, you can cut the rope to the size you need before using a hairdryer to shrink it to fit.

A new lightning cable was installed for iPhones
5/5

This cable size is ideal for repairing lightning cables on iPhones. Utilizing a heat gun will help you be patient. You should be careful when applying heat so that the connector and/or cable do not.

Apple Lightning cable can be repaired if it is torn
5/5

Here are the steps I used to repair a torn Apple Lightning cable. I expect it to work. Fortunately, extending the barrel in order to fit the lightning port took no wire cutting or soldering and just required some extra effort. It is a great fix if you are past Apple's warranty period to replace your cable.

I found it to be just what I needed
5/5

With tiny solid telephone wires and battery pack wires now being soldered with heat shrink insulation that's small enough to insulate, it's a pleasure to work with them now.
