This is a nice wire, and the red color is appealing to me. When you remove the insulation from a wire, it's much easier to see if it's stripped than it is with copper-plated wire. colored wire, which holds up and performs as expected; be aware, however, that the insulation is intended to be removed only by soldering heat or fine sandpaper. It meets and exceeds those expectations. I've tried every solvent I can think of, but nothing has been able to remove the coating. As a result, you can pretty much count on the insulation coating to hold up and protect the bare wire; however, you'll need to be an expert at soldering and sanding. It's all very thin.

The pickups sound incredible, and the price is fantastic. My other stratocaster pickups will most likely be redone as well. When I run out of this product, I will definitely buy it again.

Pickup winding is a good example of this. Soldering is a breeze. It produces a wonderful, crisp sound.
