Questions & Answers
The beginning (inner) end of the spool is taped to the inside of the spool and cannot be accessed. The outer end is the only part of the structure that can be accessed.
When exposed to heat, the insulation degrades. I make a pool of flux, tin the tip of my iron, and rub it against the wire until it is tinned = ready to connect.
Sandpaper can be used. During the soldering process, this insulation will also burn away. I recommend that you use solder paste.

This wire appears to be the same diameter as one of my hairs when viewed through my microscope.
This wire was used to make some dead-end wires. It works great when soldering a bug to an eMMC chip. I put some solder on the tip of my iron and dip the wire into the molten solder for a second or two to burn off some enamel. The wire will be melted in an instant by a lighter's flame. This spool of wire has plenty of wire on it to last me for a long time. Thanks!.
Wiring modifications (cuts and jumps) on boards with fine pitch SMT packages are a breeze with this tool.
