After installation in a marine environment, nice 100% tinning of all conductors makes a huge difference in conductivity and corrosion resistance .
. I failed to notice something vexing. What you see in the ad picture is exactly what you get: 100 or 200 feet of wire wrapped in plastic wrap with NO SPOOL to keep it neat and together once the plastic is peeled away! So I went to Home Depot and pleaded with their electrical wire department for an empty wire spool on which to wind my 100 feet of wire.
I'm going to keep this brief - Invest in this product and feel secure - Even if it costs a few percent more, the added security that quality provides is well worth it. For years, I've been using this for marine purposes!.
It was fantastic to be able to have it delivered to my house at the same, if not better, price as other big box stores.
This was purchased to replace the trailer marker lights on my trailer. I also used it on some switches in my boat, which had excellent quality thick insulation and copper conductors. I use a variety of wire in the shop for various projects and will most likely purchase more rolls. 5 stars.
