The system works well

This is what many people buy to convert an AC wire welder to a DC wire welder. It appeared that this item had a different dimension from other items that appeared the same in the image. I measured it when I got it, and, IIRC, the dimensions don't include the mounting tabs, so the dimensions that I actually see are fairly close to those on The welder works so far, and the welds appear cleaner and the beads penetrate deeper because I attach an aluminum heat sink using thermal paste. This heat sink is insulated from the rectifier and is used to cool it off it has worked well thus far.

The 200 amp Flux Core Bridge Rectifier is needed for AC to DC conversion

This was purchased to use as a mod for the Flux Core 90 amp. If you want to eliminate any future shorts, buy a 200amp instead of a 100amp or even 150amp. I think it's worth it to spend a few dollars.

So far, it seems to work well. Converted an AC welder to a DC one. For added protection, I added an additional heat sink to the rectifier.

Does what needs to be done. The rectifier in this circuit was utilized to convert AC power to DC power. I have had it working on a Lincoln welder for a while now and it does a good job.
