Questions & Answers

To connect the wires to the switch, how do I do that? The switch I want to replace is the same style as the one I had previously. The wires won't stay in? Is there any way to stop this?

There is a video on youtube that walks you through the process of setting up the Anvision foot switch. 1) Identify the "hot" wire from the two wires on your lamp cord. Use a no-touch voltage tester to do so. Take a small screwdriver, the kind you use to fix eyeglasses, and insert it into the wire release slot on the short side of the switch. 4) Cut the insulation off the hot wire a quarter inch from both ends. 1) Insert a stripped end into one of the round wire holes on the long side, closest to where you're pushing the wire release slot. •*br>5) Repeat the procedure at the opposite end of the switch with the other stripped end. To operate the wire release, it can sometimes be difficult. When you look into the wire release slot, you should notice the silver metallic piece that needs to be released on the other side. Apply the tip of your screwdriver to that silver piece with the tip of your small screwdriver. Looking in the round hole, you will see the silver part leading out as though it is a gate. Push it in the right place and you will see it open up. It should be possible to insert the wire end, and when you release the pressure on the mechanism, the wire should be firmly trapped in place.

What is the ease of operation of this switch? I am considering using it for an elderly person as an inline switch for a lamp. I appreciate it! ?

The installation process is very straightforward. There is a floor behind it. Consequently, it is turned on and off with a straightforward tap of the toe. My floor lamp could not have been better.

Despite the fact that it does work, the light does not remain on! I bought 3 of these. In order for the light to remain on, I must hold the switch down. What the heck?

There may be a problem with the ones you have. If you step on it (or push it), the light will come on, if you step on it a second time, the light will go out.

After removing my old button, I noticed that there was no way to open the little mechanism to get the wires out, so I just pulled them out. Where can I find wiring instructions?

Neither I nor the computer could figure out how to connect the wires. It was not possible for instructions to be In place of these, I bought switches from another company that we had no trouble installing.

Thinner wires can be wound with these
4/5

Although they work well, they do have a few drawbacks. You will not find instructions here. This product will need to be stripped by you, so make sure you are comfortable doing so before ordering. Furthermore, they can only be used with thinner cords. On one of those cheap home extension cords that you often find around the house, I installed one. The title of this project is "2" The sixth prong It can be purchased at many stores as a foot cord. It was a little difficult to work with the thick wires. However, the cord was a little too thick and the switch wasn't able to close all the way. I was able to get it to work for our Christmas lights, but I was disappointed. The following are the basic instructions To disconnect the cable from the battery, use a utility knife to slice it down the middle, lengthwise between the two wires. One of the wires should be cut, and the plastic must be stripped from the cut ends by 1/4". 2. 3. The ends of the wire should be connected You can just route the other wire through the switch case, leaving the other wire whole. 4
Install the screws in the switch after assembling it (the way to do this should be fairly obvious).

Why do I not see a switch instruction? This is what you need to know
4/5

As a result, these lights It should be easy to switch the weights. If I were to give them a score, it would have been a five This item was an A-star, except that it did not come with instructions. As you can see, here is how to install. Disassemble the switch by pulling apart the top and bottom pieces. Located in the bottom piece is a small rectangle at the heart of the switch. If you closely examine the switch heart, you can see a slightly larger hole on each side. Electric lines usually have two insulated wires connected in one cord. Separate the two wiring a few inches away from where you want the switch to be mounted, cut one wire in half at that spot, then strip the ends of the wire about one inch apart. An inch and a quarter. The wire can be very small, like a Christmas light wire, and you can twist then bend it back over where it's insulated, or not, and poke it into one of the two larger holes on the switch heart. Then you can set it into the rectangle on the bottom. Put the wires about halfway up the switch, place the spring over the heart, and screw the top onto the switch. I'm so excited!.

This application is extremely useful, but it is not the easiest to install on earth
4/5

This product is neat. It's also easy to use. I love it. The only thing I would change is to give it five stars if just a bit more room was available inside. To use every microbe, one must virtually use all of them In order to install the wires and switch properly and close the case completely, the case needs 1 inch of space. It even occurred to me to trim some of the insulation from the wire to provide myself This is something I didn't do. It was more important to me that the system be safe than easy to install. As a result of a lot of wrangling and twisting, I was finally able to install the switch and wires in the completely closed case. It is just a wire ungrounded lamp cord, nothing special to speak of, nothing thick or extra thick. There's no way to do this with a three-pronged switch Ensure that your cords are grounded. It's easy to put together, and it works perfectly. This is the one I use on the lamp with a three-way socket However, at the moment I'm only using a single voltage LED bulb on a single-way switch. The LED bulbs I've accidentally left on low voltage in the past have damaged. Using this switch, I can ensure that the lamp always operates at full voltage, regardless of whether it is switched on or not The lamp is turned on and off with the way lamp switch.

I tested this in the application and it worked perfectly
5/5

The switch on a quartz-based quartz was out of order, so I had to replace it I replaced the hot tube of the lamp with a dimmable LED and replaced the halogen lamp with a halogen lamp. Since we did not need to dim the LED light, and the old floor dimmer seemed to flicker when turned off, we implemented a switch instead. I tested this in the application and it worked perfectly. This is a very nice design, but you shouldn't use it unless you are familiar with how to handle basic household electrical components. The installation is clear with just a little inspection, and there are no instructions. Including a recommended AC wire size in the description would help, not only with regard to its insertion into the switch body, but also with regard to the fact that the plastic outer shell has grippers for the wire near its entry into If necessary, a careful inspection provides a view of possible wire release holes. As well, I agree that soldering two ends of the basic switch what will go into it would be a good idea. When the next one is finished I will take a picture of the inside and post it here if no one else has already done so.

This is a good solution
5/5

I was much happier with buying this than the foot switch or extension cord, since they were more expensive and I didn't want to have a lot of cord hanging around. As it is made of plastic, it is not quite heavy enough to sit flat on the ground, but it will hold up to daily indoor use just fine. There are no instructions included, which is lame, but there is a good youtube video that covers the topic. There have been complaints that people cannot figure out how to insert wires into the On the short side of the switch is a slot that houses the wire release mechanism. The silver piece inside the slot can be accessed with a small jeweler's screwdriver. Next, the wire release will swing open as if it were.

The reason it is so cheap is because it is for a good cause
3/5

The switches are smaller than others, so they are difficult to install. The switch on the left in the photo is the one I am replacing, while the Anvision switch at the right shows how you cannot screw it in. Make sure the wire is securely attached to the On this page you will see a small, wordless photo There are no other clues - only instructions Ask questions, but do not answer them. video is included with switches, and instructions are not printed on them. It arrived quickly, but in an unopened box that had been opened in my mailbox. There were pieces laying.

Lamps are the only things like that
4/5

This is an easy to install device, but you need to wire the hot line and the common line differently when wiring If you can't figure out how to do this wiring on your own (since there are no instructions) you will have to study it to figure it The problem is this If you want to read the whole thing, be sure you understand the context. Wires that are cut in the switch should be the hot wire of the light or other appliance, so that only one of them gets cut. Having the ability to turn on and off a lamp with the touch of a foot is very convenient. Please note that this is not intended for high-schoolers The following devices are powered by electricity Lamps are the only things like that.
