16 watts is all that is required for a 2000 watt load. There is 67 Amps at 120 volts and the circuit is primarily resistive, so the circuit should work well. When the load on this device is this high, you may have to heatsink it.
We know from their specification that it is The DC current is five milliamps @ 12 volts. Note 7. That sounds about right and typical for this family of SSRS. A little more than one /100th of an amp is 5 mA. Do not worry about things like 1/2 amps. Their triggers don't take much to set them off.
Someone smarter than me will have to explain why this is the case. A multimeter was placed on the relay circuit as a result of my curiosity. There were 125 volts on the display. Although I have a dust vacuum attached to it, it is not Activating the circuit started the dust vacuum, but my multimeter displayed 125 volts even though the circuit was off. There is only one thing I can think of the relay completes the circuit so that the equipment connected to it runs. There are three of them in the shop for dust collection, and they do a great job.
An AC output of this relay is controlled by a DC input. In the typical LED bulb that goes into a light socket, maybe 1/10th of an amp is used. With this relay you can control an AC voltage up to 380v. Getting to the mall in a military Humvee is vast overkill. Yes, some people love to overdo things. It is possible to use smaller, cheaper relays to complete the task.

Weight is decent and it's easy to wire. Hopefully it will stand the test of time, but I don't anticipate problems because I will only use it for relatively light duty (auto start for a shopvac and router as part of a hobby CNC).
Using these as controls for my 3 kW 240V outdoor heaters is very convenient. Cooling is provided by mounting the device inside the heater's enclosure (2 screws). - Easy to control at all times With the help of my iPhone, I control four heaters using a 12V lamp connected to a smart switch. I found the DIY system to be easy to build with these relays and I have been very happy with it so far.
The fan works as described and can handle enough power to run harbor freight dust collectors.
This product is working great.
It's really great!.
