I needed to be free of my wind generator's charge controller. I wanted to be in charge of my own braking. The wind is too strong here, and the controller braking simply destroys my generator. I can run higher winds, which equals higher currents, with this rectifier on a heat sink and a fan without having to worry about the generator burning out. Overvoltage is dealt with by my dump load. I'm going to install another generator. The first thing I did was place an order for another of these rectifiers, as well as a heatsink and fan. The charge controller was then thrown away.

The AC voltage in is equal to the DC voltage out

It does exactly what it says. Keep in mind that 360 volts three phase in equals 360 volts direct current out.

Terminals are very nice

Used for 3 phase wind turbines and dumped dc (single circuit) power into the top element of a hot water heater. There is no need to connect to the grid for power.
