Yes, I don't recall if it was the Red LED, but there is continuity across the terminals when current flows above the set threshold.br>This unit does not require external power, but it can only detect current flow above a minimum value.

This was purchased to activate one amplifier when another was activated. It came without a wiring diagram or instructions at first, but it is a fairly simple device that could easily be connected incorrectly by the inexperienced. It didn't work right away after I connected it. NOpen remained the same for Relay. After that, it began to function for three months. 4 times, then NClosed mode was selected. I couldn't get it to "unstick" no matter what I tried. Even if there isn't any power available. I went back to the drawing board and came up with a new idea.
