The helix form of this power tap compares well to OSG, but it is priced much lower. I have found it to be very responsive with my 1018 material. As far as tap magic lube goes, I use it. A good tap pulls chips out of holes well, and the short Lead-in allows the drilling of deep blind holes without the usual problems that may arise from different cutting forms.
The tap seems to be working pretty well. This bottom tap has been used for tapping blind holes in aluminum round bars. It works great for me! I'm not sure how well it will work on harder materials but it works great for me!.
It's amazing how useful this was.
Highly recommended! All of them were purchased. I would like to hear anything from YG One is a fantastic product. Highly recommended! All of them were purchased.
Everything seems to be going well so far. The following is an example. A 250" deep blind that is 10" wide A hole in 6061 aluminum is 32 mm in diameter. Chips were nicely pulled up with this tap and the cut was perfect. A follow-up review will be made after I have completed more work.
Spiral flute taps like this are very uncommon! My experience with it is great! I used it both on aluminum and mild steel!
Keep in mind to use plenty of lube and to go slowly. A mini lathe is what I'm using it for.
My series of tapped holes has topped a dozen so far, and I will never use straight fluted taps again. Cutting is easier, chips are easier to clear, everything is much simpler. If you try one, you'll regret not trying more.
I found this to be very We strongly agree. It comes in handy in my job as an aircraft interior designer. This is a good one to recommend.
