Here is a good looking pipe tap that works perfectly. The picture shows it is made in the USA. Actually, it's not made in the USA, it's made in China. Had I known this, I would have purchased one made in the USA! Nevertheless, it's effective at installing sensors or sending units that are 3/8 inch in diameter.
As expected, it works.
Vermont American's tool is different from the one in the photo, as it does with all Vermont American products. As far as I can tell, the tap works.
