What is the material of this? Is it high speed steel?

That does indeed seem to be the case

Which drive size does the square drive have?

One third of an inch x one third of an inch are the dimensions of the square drive

Does the square drive have a larger or a smaller size?

I measured it at 1 3/8" square, if I recall correctly. To get the most out of it, I needed to make a driver and the 2" square tube with the 1/4" wall was a perfect match.
