Replacement tap for a kit made well and is excellent in quality

I used to play the old 8-bit game The 32 in my Vermont kit (inherited from my dad) was probably more than 40 years old and a little faded. A great new tap that cuts superbly and is hard to the touch.

It is made of Chineseium material. The first time around, the tap snapped. The broken tap was removed over the course of several hours. You can buy quality taps in the USA.

In order to thread a blind hole, I needed a taper tap that would thread down to the bottom. I thought it did a good job.

The Irwin tap has always been of high quality. China is now the supplier of imports. These are good for hard metals. I used them for some very hard metal.
