For the homeowner or shade tree mechanic, this is an excellent set

This purchase had me on the fence. I spent months researching on and off. It was well worth it to finally pull the trigger and avoid dealing with the dozens of loose pieces I have. I've used it a total of eight times. I've used it a total of ten times and am very happy with the results. Everything is well-made and sharp. I'm a homeowner who works on cars on the side and don't use this full-time in a shop, so it fits nicely in the case. Exceeded my expectations and was a perfect fit for my requirements. In the not-too-distant future, I'll probably purchase the SAE set.

For those Uh-oh moments, this is a fantastic kit

Oh, the awe. This is an excellent set to have on hand for those uh-oh moments. Oh, the moments that we all encounter at some point. I'm a full-time automotive technician, and this is a must-have kit; I used to have a much less expensive set that lacked many of the sizes I required. In metric sizes, this set has every size you can think of. The next day, I used it! I literally found a messed up thread on an intake manifold the day after I received this set. I was able to successfully repair it with the help of this kit. Also, I'd like to point out that I used a red paint marker to outline the sizes in order to make them easier to read. Overall, a fantastic collection.

What an incredible lifesaver

This kit saved my life and was well worth the money. Everything on the bike I was working on at the time was metric, so I bought it for that. It was necessary to clean the threads on a large number of bolts and nuts, and it was successful in repairing a couple of them that had been cross threaded. This kit has saved me a lot of time and effort in putting things back together. Very well made, and if you're on the fence about buying it because you do any type of light repair work on things, you won't be disappointed.

I'm never buying ABN products again, and I'm advising everyone in our shop to avoid ABN. I had a pair of your wire crimpers, as well as a tap holder, explode in my hand! I will not purchase from you in the future.

Each metric size is included in this set

This is a great set for the money if you need a complete set of "metric" tap and dies. If you're going to buy something, make sure you know what the metric system is because the metric classification tables, as well as the conversion, are very different. The case was sturdy in general, and all of the pieces fit snugly inside. When you need a larger handle to complete your operation, the variety of handle sizes comes in handy. I highly recommend it because it has very sharp taps and dies.

With all the metric bolts on modern cars, I bought this to keep on hand. I haven't used it yet, but it appears to be well-cut with a good finish. The case is sturdy and holds everything in place.
