A plastic piece that comes in the box is intended to hold the node in place, and to secure it There have been instances where people adapted and attached the valve attachment to one of the in or out pipes that enters
the timer is for a single station. Besides the NODE200, NODE400, and NODE600, other options are available. You can control these devices using your smartphone if you wish, by searching for the NODTBT100, BODEBT200 and NODEBT400 using Bluetooth.
When I received the Hunter Controller, it came with a clip that attaches the Timer Module to the solenoid.
My guess is that there is an electrical problem at the node or in the wiring that is connected to it. Over the past two years, I've put in about a dozen new nodes - The two don't seem to be a problem. You will find other working nodes if you have them If you need to fix something in a particular location, you could always try one of these. A problem must exist with the new system if it works.

You probably could not design a worse user interface. Battery powered controllers have the advantage of being ultra portable, but the user interface negates it. There is no need for this product, I already have a bhyve orbit for my other zones, the wifi based bhyve works wonderfully.
Whenever we leave our house they are breathing down our necks. As we sat in our office one day, we noticed that the in-house On the day that the irrigation system wasn't supposed to go off, it went off anyway. The HOA puts pressure in the lines only a few days a week, and sometimes as a test of our sprinkler systems by putting pressure in the lines on a day where it shouldn't normally be. In case your sprinkler system goes off on that day, you will be fined. In spite of the fact that I had lifted the old NODE100 out of the ground, I noticed that the display was filled with water bubbles. In my experience, it would respond incredibly slowly if I tried to wake it up. when I ran it, the computer would completely "crash" and would not respond to any inputs I had to remove both 9 volts and replace them in order to get it to work It was at this point that I knew the water-proof seal of the timer had been purged, and it was now shorting out the circuit. There is no way of removing the circuit board without destroying it, as it is completely enclosed. It was obviously not repairable, so I had As a replacement for the timer I ordered this one after I shut off the line by twisting the solenoid shut. The wait was worth the wait, but it took a while for it to arrive. Although the HOA pumps water into the lines continuously for an hour, I set the timer to run for 30 minutes. I am doing this so my daughter won't have to worry about getting soaked before her bus in the morning. I've been using this sprinkler timer for a few months now and it continues to work well. It can be a little confusing to set up because you can customize a lot of things There are a number of YouTube videos from Hunter that will help you set up every aspect of the timer the way It is normal that you need to check the batteries every year and that the water proof seal will eventually break after a couple of years.
It would be a bad idea to do this. In spite of the fact that the battery and electronics are waterproof, I have had to change them 4 times in the last 6 years because of corrosion and found that there is no way to prevent condensation or water. This is a great option since you don't have to run power outside, but you'll probably have to replace it frequently. It requires you to always be ready with the manual whenever you are programming it.
It's awesome to have these things! It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for in this case. Using previous models of the older style, I've been controlling pasture sprinkler lines with no power available for conventional irrigation control timers for years. It is designed to run on a single 9V battery for an entire season, maybe even two seasons, and you have the option of using two batteries for an This type of stand alone valve controls only one valve per unit, so I created a spreadsheet to coordinate times for the valves since I run 4 of these on the same pasture from the same water source. One of my cameras failed after being submerged for a long time. I have only used it once and it worked fine after that.
Some reliability issues existed. In 2017 I had to replace it because the battery connections had gone bad on both sides. When you spend that much money on a product, you should get more longevity out of it. It was my replacement for the one I had bought in 2008 (same company, similar electronic device. ).
I like it just fine. One of the battery connectors on the other unit came off when changing a battery this spring, which means that it is nearly two years old. Having two batteries would therefore negate the benefit of being able to use them for a longer period.
It is among the very few zone controls for home sprinkler systems that is waterproof and uses battery power to operate. A 'wireless' system controls watering zones in the house, but for remote areas that cannot be controlled by a 'wired' system, this control is indispensable. This is a 4 out of 5 Because of the relatively high price and because this is the second Hunter node I have installed in the past three years, I've given it an overall 5 star rating. As a side note, the first one would not 'shut off' at the end of programming. I would also note that programming this device is very clunky and far from intuitive. Once programmed, however, it has proven to be THE perfect answer to my particular needs.
In place of an earlier model that failed, this one works. They have always worked flawlessly up until that time, but I can see them deteriorating over time for the price they were charged. There are a lot of costs associated with them. I would prefer to use a newer design like this if you want to manually turn it on. This same timer has been used to irrigate thousands of trees using pipe up to 2" in diameter.
