I particularly liked the extra width being able to offer more Although the tape is not repositionable when stuck to itself, it is repositionable when sticking to a paper based product once smoothed out (just to alert you).

In my previous experiences with gaffer tape, it was a matte, cloth-based product On the non-essentials, consistency would be nice It is sticky on one side and stretches a lot on the other side. In my opinion, this tape does not stretch, and has a semi-slippery surface Finished in a gloss on non-gloss surfaces I like that it has a sticky side (it's certainly smoother than other gaffer tapes I have used) and the adhesive is not as strong on paper as other tapes. These surfaces are similar to what I've used in the past. I have no positive information to share about it, but I do notice it removes cleanly like it should. Overall, I had high hopes for this tape to complement the matte black tape I'm already using in a project, but I was rather disappointed in the result.

Despite the fact that it adheres but is not too sticky, Gaffers tape tears cleanly and easily. There's nothing you can do to make this tape tear, and once it does tear, the mess is disastrous. There is a plastic consistency compared to a rubber consistency. Here are the materials - The consistency of Gaffers tape is similar. There are numerous uses for this tape, which is frequently used to secure audio and video cables, but it's too sticky, much like duck tape. It can be painful to try to remove the tape if the tape gets wrapped onto a cord if you're not careful. There is no doubt that it sticks to carpets well, almost too well. Trying it out was worth it, but not one I would buy.

A very sticky situation. This is what we use all the time to tape AV cables to carpets in hotels. As the adhesive is so strong, it is a bit challenging to unroll. The good news is that it works. The only thing you need to watch out for is that you don't get the adhesive side of the tape stuck to itself.

There is nothing to hold up to this stuff. When I tried to remove some that had been applied 3 months ago, it delaminated, leaving a big mess to clean up. This is precisely the kind of problem gaffers tape is supposed to solve, not create. On two of the interior wall spaces I applied it to and two on the exterior wall spaces. It is a bad product, avoid it. It is useless to read my earlier reviews because this stuff breaks down quickly. Only when it's removed do you find out how bad it is.

If you are looking for tape of this appearance and stickiness, it is typically 1 inch wide white bandage tape found in medical supply stores. There is probably a bit more stickiness with this than bandage tape, but it leaves no residue on most surfaces. As a rule, it leaves no residue on hard surfaces such as floors, where it is intended to be used. It is a great deal at the price I paid, although the 4 inch width is a bit small.

While it will work for what I'm using it for, this tape is NOT one that you should choose if you need to use it for short periods of time and do not want to risk adhesive sticking to your fingers.
