Wet surfaces do not adhere to this tape
3/5

There is no such thing as good customer service. In order to glue the ceramic marker underwater, I needed to glue it to a wall of the swimming pool. Despite the picture on the front of the epoxy package stating "Bonds wet surfaces", the text on the rear of the package reads "be sure surfaces are It was an accident, and this epoxy would stick to wet surfaces. The company that sent the product confirmed that the text on the back was an error and that it was taken from an incorrect product. I received it yesterday and tested it out in the Unfortunately, there is bad news to report today. I found the text on the back to be accurate. The next morning, it fell off easily since it had been left to cure overnight. I have a problem and a solution Customers are given wrong information by the customer support and the packaging is contradictory. Loctite (a subsidiary of Henkel) surprised us with this announcement. As a side note, there is the following annoyance Because of the difficulty of moving a double syringe, it is difficult to get equal amounts of hardener and resin. A quick update In order to make sure I had not messed up, I called customer service again. It went from bad to worse now. Throughout the disclaimer, the woman explained that they do not make any warranties, but that one must first try the product to be sure it works for their specific purpose before committing. This information is not found on the packaging of the product. The woman refused to comment on the discrepancy between the front and back of the package and said that if I was not happy with the product, then I ought to speak to the retailer about it. There was a lot of shock in this The attitude is condescending and arrogant. Any Loktite products I buy in the future will not be used.

The software works well, but there are some As a whole, I love using this product
5/5

I have repaired more items than I can count. The problem remains that it IS visible, so it's not the perfect solution. Unlike superglue, this is not a glue. Material like this should be on the break all the way around. As a cast for a broken limb, it would do the job. This will allow the limb to be used, but if you wish for a strong hold, it will be evident. A very shiny finish is achieved after drying. It is going to be a big white shiny blob as it is going on like a cast. to this rule is when the epoxy is in a part. In this case, it will hold exceptionally It's hard to color it with sharpies when it's visible, and the color will wear off and you will be back to white. I've also tried mixing enamel color into wet epoxy, but it didn't give me the color I wanted, so I did not As a result, my truck's engine was damaged when a plastic retainer broke on my truck's engine by the mechanic (and he refused to take responsibility for For the past five years, the throttle linkage has endured the heat of the engine as it is directly above it. As well as that, I have found you can sand An emery cloth soaked in water does a nice job of finishing it. There are people who have stated in reviews that the directions clearly state that underwater it won't work. Don't read the directions all the way through. In the directions, it is mentioned that it will work underwater, but it is a longer process However, there is one slight negative side 1) The white blob. Nothing can be done about it. 2) It also takes quite a while to harden, which can prove immensely frustrating in the case of attempting After it's mixed for the first time, it's relatively fluid. There have been times when I used Super Glue to hold the pieces together and then soaked them in epoxy There have been many instances of this style of repair working. There have also been times when I waited ten minutes After 15 minutes, apply the epoxy. Call for more time if it needs to thicken up. All in all, it can be used for a wide range of applications. Even our almost white ceramic tile floor looked better when it was filled up with it, and I sanded the area down with wet emery cloth to remove the gloss.

It's great to use epoxy like this! There is a crack in the housing of my pool filter
5/5

In order to replace that fiberglass shell, you will need to spend upwards of $1,000. The epoxy seemed to work well so I decided to try and patch the crack with it. My first step was to disassemble the filter housing so that I could patch inside and outside. Then, I attached a flex-liner to both the inside and outside patches. You taped it. After patching the shell 24 hours ago, I am happy to report that the shell is now leak-free. This product is a good price point as well. The tubes are connected in two directions. Extrusion of the same amount of both liquids becomes very easy when that is the case. ** B - The only thing I wish was for it to cure The overall experience with this marine epoxy was very satisfactory. You can count on me using it again and recommending it to others.

The tiles of a spa
5/5

With this method, I was able to glue back a few loose spa tiles without having to drain I didn't think this epoxy would be used in the way it was intended, On the spa, vertical mounting is used. It's been a pleasant surprise for me.

I had not expected this to work so well
4/5

Due to getting stuck in some shallow, rocky waters, we had a little scratch on the hull of the boat. Water that is at the bottom. As a result, the fiberglass under the Cleargel could be seen. After being off the water for a week, the shirt appeared to hold on to moisture and be wet and/or dripping. Scuff was not large (maybe 8" long and 1/4" wide) and the scuff did not penetrate the whole hull entirely. Since it was below the surface of the water, I didn't pay attention to its appearance. This stuff is Bone Dry Ever Since! I mixed some up, applied it to the damage with a plastic fork and knife, and it hasn't dried The result doesn't look bad (and, truth be told, it's not that bad either).

You've done a great job! My hot tub developed a leak at the bottom once I used this
5/5

I liked how easy it was to use. For the first time in over a month, I haven't lost any water. The product is very easy to use and excellent for continuous use underwater.

An attached skeg is attached to the kayak's bottom
5/5

A kayak I have called the Epic GPX Ultra failed to trek as well as I had hoped. The glue is used to attach a low profile skeg to the bottom of the The rubber skeg on the boat and the fiberglass of the boat were scuffed, but the seal was solid. Keeps the boat steady even when the skeg is supporting the boat when I launch too close to shore and the skeg drags along the ground until I can get it free of the ground without bottoming In addition, I can set the kayak up on the ground and it remains upright. The adhesion is excellent! A fine white is formed when dried, but the cure takes a while. Before you put even a light load on something that you're bonding, start curing it for at least an hour, and let it cure for 24 hours before you start using it fully.
