Questions & Answers

The product has gotten a lot of bad reviews. Why are you still selling it? Super glue with a private label! ?

I'm not trying to sell you anything. A friend of mine recommended this product to me for my father's walker I was very pleased with how it worked! The adhesive is excellent and we are happy with it.

What is the method of use for this product?

just like a bad joke that has cost me three sets of grips. The company is taking action, but this product has received a lot of negative feedback and is misleading.

Do you think epoxy would be a better choice?

Could you please explain to me what concern you have?

What should I do if I want to return it or buy a replacement?

I am happy to report that our bottle worked well and was able to be used!

There is nothing good about this product
3/5

It is a gel super-pump The adhesive. Until you have super glue on your hands and it freezes in five seconds, there is no way to tell that this is super glue. To affix the grip, all four dots should be placed 2 inches from the end of the handlebar. A generous bead should be applied around the inside edge, and then the grip be pulled quickly since the glue will cure within Once I applied the glue and tried to pull the grip onto the device, it was already set solid half way up. sniff the smell and realize it's super glue, and when I turn my hand over, my fingers are all too glued to the palms. There is nothing special there it is merely a bottle of cheap gel superglue with the names of professional taper The pro taper name has been floating around everywhere, so I'm unsure why I thought this product would be useful to me. You don't need this product unless you're a pro racer, sorry, but I didn't see the "pro" in the name. It was literal to say taper. My purchase of pro- will probably not be In the future, taper products will be available. Gimmicks, gimmicks, trash.

Glue of the highest quality This is a very fast drying process
3/5

A person should avoid it as it dries way too fast to be a reliable option. It is recommended that you purchase an extra pair of grips, a second person to hold, and have a lot of patience if you choose There are instructions that suggest you put four lines of the stuff around the outside of the handlebar, then liberally wrap the inside of the grip with it. My renthal grips fit tightly onto the left fixed handlebar (metal), so I applied glue just halfway on the handlebar and waited for it to dry. I was able to rip the grip off with enough force for a second attempt. During the second wipe I wiped a very small amount, just enough which would- You can repeat this procedure for each of the handlebar shafts - 40 times around each shaft. I had now covered both my hands with glue and the end of the grip as well. After this experience, I was hesitant to try the other side, but I was determined to do so. It has been wiped with some WD-40 and cleaned with a little soapy water After the glue had dried, I applied a generous amount of glue to both the sleeve and the Once again, I get the grip halfway over the sleeve, but nothing happens after that. It is so difficult to push, the bike just slides across the garage floor as I am pushing it. After a while, I began to pull at the grip and I was able to break the The Renthal glue, along with another set of gloves and throttle sleeve, are on their way to me.

Superglue is what it is called
3/5

Your money is worth saving! There is nothing more to this My grip won't stay on if I make it more than 1/3 of the way before it dries. It was fortunate that I had my air compressor on and was able to blow the grip off with air pressure. It was 3M weatherstripping glue that I used to hold my grips in place.

Opened when they arrived
3/5

The stuff secures the grips to the handlebars, so it probably does what it is supposed to do. You can think of it as It doesn't matter what it is, whatever it is. As soon as I opened the package, I read that the instructions said to poke a hole into the top of it before using The packaging was very good, so who knows how someone had already done this (the packaging was perfect). Almost as soon as I took the superglue bottle out of its wrapper, I had superglue all over me. I hadn't yet opened the bottle, so this was a bit of a surprise. My hair was incredibly thick, so I had to remove it all by hand. The next day, I found the whole contents of the bottle had leaked out. I tossed the bottle on the ground onto its side after I installed my grips. That makes sense. This will certainly not be on my shopping list again.

Grips are going to suffer greatly from this
3/5

The grip sticks to itself when you are trying to pull it off and is a major pain to get back apart and off the bars without destroying them. I would not buy this product again for grips but maybe as a super glue since that is I assume a grip glue needs a working time of at least 5 minutes before it hardens, but in my experience this glue went hard after 2 seconds after it touched the handlebars. If you want to use epoxy or silicon, those are probably the two best choices. It would even work better if we used hot glue! It's good to know you'll have a long life ahead of you.

BAD PRODUCTS! 76 reviews from guys! When I read the reviews, I see I am not alone
3/5

I received this item in a bad condition, it leaked everywhere in the packing. To remove the glue on top, I had to use pliers, and then everything went south. The explosion caused all the debris to get all over my bike, me, and my clothes. I also damaged a new pair of buckle jeans that was $100 and a $150 Solomon down coat. There was no glue that was not leaking and broken because the seller failed to deliver it. A product like this would never be recommended to anyone. If you want to install grips on your motorcycle, go to your wife's house and spray hairspray on the bars and inside of the motorcycle. Slide on the grips and leave it overnight. My entire experience has been frustrating and I am not looking forward to having to bathe my skin in acetone for days after exploding grip glue ruined my $250 in loses. You should beware! The seller is As long as you wish to sell this item, you should make sure the package won't leak and that you pack it tightly to prevent leaks.

The water is gone
3/5

As others have pointed out, the package was already opened when I opened the bottle. The contents were mostly dried up, with the bottle inside crusty. I was able to put 1 grip on halfway, but it dried too quickly. I will switch to Renthal grips in the future, since their grip glue takes much longer to set, but stays workable for I am disappointed.
