That is not the purpose for which I would use it. In addition to being pink in color, the fireblock dries hard as a rock There is a major reason to use this material in walls. It fills in gaps around wires and pipes to prevent a fire from being able to draw air from or pass
It exceeded A5TM, according to the description, but I didn't put fire to it myself This standard is called the E136 standard. This is a5TM Fire blocking materials are tested to see if they will remain intact at 750 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes under E136.
There is a nozzle included with the tube. There are usually two types Beads are made of plastic that can be trimmed to the desired thickness.

Perfect for a fire stop or seal, the product goes in easily and spreads well with gloves on. There are a few more features to this than calling the company directly Although it hardens really well in a short amount of time, I am going overboard with this stuff in all stud penetrations preventing any potential fires from spreading as fast as without this product. It also slows the spread of flames throughout the house as well. What's the point of cutting corners? Insurance like this is a great idea.
The product is nice. The price is fair. Caulking gun work exactly like it does with regular caulking.
Caulk can be applied to the same areas in the same way, except that its texture is grittier. In general, it will dry fairly fast (overnight to be safe) and then you can sand it down. In addition, I hope that I never have to use it unless I have to burn it to test its functioning.
We were not able to use this product. The directions were followed to the letter. I lost all my hair within two weeks.
