So, as the title suggests, out of the 70 pieces in the kit, I discovered one defective nozzle. I purchased this kit because I currently have two printers, an Ender 3 Pro and a CR10S, and I wanted to try out a variety of nozzles as I work on various projects. Also, the nozzle on my CR10S was starting to clog up just as I was about to switch to an all-metal hotend, so I figured now was as good a time as any to try them out, and I proceeded to swap out my. For another, I'll use a 4mm nozzle. I pulled the nozzle out after about 2 minutes of trying to get it started only to find the threads were munged up (that's a technical term, in case you're wondering), so I grabbed another. 4 and it went in without a hitch, and it's been running smoothly since then. I'll be purchasing another of these as soon as I'm in need of one; they're fantastic!.
With some tinkering, I got a 6 SE. I've gone through about a half-dozen factory CR-Vs. I've used 6 SE nozzles and have never considered trying another. Over the last few weeks, I've been doing several long prints (around 40 hours each), and the filament contains a metallic that is eating the nozzles. When I first saw these, the hole didn't appear to be the correct size when compared to factory nozzles. I inserted the needle to see if it would fit in the Creality nozzles, but it wouldn't fit in the Tuparkas. I tried a few more times and was able to get it to drift through the hole without too much difficulty. Even though I was already dissatisfied with it, I went ahead and printed it. I did a self-level and then tried to print a few times but wasn't happy with how the filament was turning out, so I abandoned two or three prints. I manually moved the nozzle closer to the bed and was able to start a print that looked decent. I was still a little worried about how the print would turn out, but after more than 24 hours, this is the cleanest print I've ever seen on my machine! I believe there are two issues at play. To begin with, Tuparka's nozzles have more material in them. That would lead me to believe they are slightly better at heat retention. It's probably insignificant, but these have a lot more content. The second difference is that the tip is much more blunt. This, I believe, is the reason for their success. The end of the tip is very flat, and it appears to be "ironing" the filament after it has been printed. Perhaps it's due to the fact that the tip is smaller. I honestly have no idea. What I do know is that after 24 hours, when printing with the Creality nozzles, I'd normally be pulling gobs of melted filament off the hot end. These are nearly spotless. These would have gotten five stars if the drift needle had fit through the hole. They lose a point because they have to fiddle with it a little. However, PETG printing over factory nozzles saves me a lot of time because I don't have to check on the printer as frequently to clean up the melted mess that the factory nozzles leave behind. I rarely write reviews unless something is truly exceptional, and I adore these nozzles, and the best part is that I now own 40 of them! Amazing!.
These aftermarket nozzles are supposed to have a pressure of 0. They're supposed to be 4mm thick, but they're not. EVERY NOZZLE'S HOLE IS WAY TOO SMALL, and you'll have to use a lot of force to get the included needle(s) through. You'll get under extrusion at 0 if you use them as is. 4mm settings that appear as layer lines. If you use the needle to ream them to size before installing them, they will work. Although getting 35 nozzles for this price may appear to be a good deal, you will have to do the needle reaming yourself. But why do this when The Creality3D Store on their website offers 24 OEM FACTORY CREALITY nozzles for the same price?.
I JUST pressed the button to place an order. LOL. The speed is insane. They have a nice little sellable case, as well as plenty of cleaners. I would only change one thing. I give this a 9 because it should have some sort of separation between the various sized tips so you don't have to look for the one you need. A 9 out of 10 rating. Guys, you are incredibly nice. a fantastic effort.
It's almost too good to be true when it comes to the price. These were purchased to replace the Ender 3 figures that my husband had. These are made of low-quality brass. br>br> The extruder tip's end wore down incredibly quickly. It was only a month long. br>br>The photos show a comparison of the one he took off and a new one from the same box. These are the same size. br>br>They have been returned for a refund.
When you have a nozzle jam that won't go away for hours, having this collection on hand comes in handy. There is also a good selection of sizes for various qualities. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Cleaning needles were included as well.
The only thing I'm worried about is the nozzle openings, which are listed as 0. The diameter is 4mm, but the sizes vary. Some of the numbers are zero. 1mm to 0. 4mm. Using a plier and pin jamming in the hole, I was able to enlarge the hole. Some are worth it if you don't mind checking the ends, cleaning them, and making sure they're the right size.
I've been fighting with this for about 3 or 4 hours now, with dozens of failed prints. Nozzle diameter of 2 mm Despite trying dozens of settings and leveling multiple times, I am unable to produce a satisfactory print. br>br>I've heard of a lot of people having problems with Amazon nozzles that are dirt cheap, and I'm guessing this is the case with these as well.
