Questions & Answers

Why does this page's product specification state: "Aluminum as a material?" What is the authentic substance? What am I supposed to do if I don't know what I'm doing?

Aluminum can be found in a variety of places. On my end, every spec shows brass.

Is a ptfe tube required for these nozzles, or can they be used with an all-metal hotend?

It's versatile and can be used in a variety of situations. metal is currently on the market.

Will these nozzles work with the Maker Ultimate 2 printer from Monoprice?

I'm not sure about that particular model, but they work with the Monoprice Select Pro Ultimate 3D Printer. They've met my expectations. br>Measure the threaded portion of your existing nozzle to see if it is an M7 thread just to be sure. [ ~7. 0mm ]

It's perfect for my Qidi X- Pro! I wanted to upgrade from the stock nozzle of 0
5/5

My Qidi X- comes with a 4mm nozzle. I was looking for a professional printer and came across this product, despite the fact that I only needed 0. I figured I'd give 6mm nozzles a try because of the variety of sizes available and the low price. After all, it does have two 0s in it. My two extruders each have a 6mm nozzle. br>br>However, removing the nozzle on my X-ray machine was a breeze. Install the new nozzle like a pro. I used the PTFE tube that came with my printer (the Qidi X-1) to make this. Two additional 0s were included in the Pro version. 4mm nozzles with a PTFE tube attached, which is what I used). With the 0, br>br> With the 6mm nozzle installed, I changed the Simplify 3D settings to 0. The nozzle is 6mm in diameter. The Extrusion Width was set to 0 when using Auto Extrusion Width. 72mm. I decided to use PETG filament for my first test print, extruding at 245°C on an 80°C bed, and the extrusion came out nice and smooth. br>br>Although I haven't tried the other sizes yet, the 0. was my initial requirement. So far, the 6mm nozzle has proven to be effective. I'll see if this company sells a package that only contains the 0. nozzles with a diameter of 6 mm br>br>I guess if I have anything to complain about, I have two (albeit minor) gripes:
1. Only one of my two extruders had its nozzle replaced. The new nozzle has a protrusion of about 0. The stock Qidi nozzle on the other extruder is 5mm lower than the stock Qidi nozzle. When leveling the bed, this is very obvious. I'm not sure if this is due to the fact that my original nozzle has worn out or if the length is simply different. It's not a major issue - I'll just use one of the other nozzles included in this set to replace the other extruder.
2. All of the different nozzle sizes are contained in a single ziplock bag - As a result, you must carefully examine the small imprinted size on the nozzle's collar to determine the correct size. It's not a big deal, but when I compare it to some other nozzles I purchased or my Creality CR10 v2 - which were each placed in a small ziplock bag according to their size - and the size was clearly labeled on each ziplock bag. br>br>Overall, I would highly recommend these nozzles if you want to change the size of your Qidi X-Series nozzles. Pro.

Brass MK10 nozzles in good condition
5/5

All of the nozzles I received were 0 degrees. A PTFE tube could be inserted through the top hole, which was 4mm. They have M7 threads and are made of brass. As a result, they're MK10s in the traditional sense. br>br>Avoid using these with all metal hot ends (such as Microswiss) because they require a nonstandard small hole for filament in the nozzle's top. This necessitates the use of a PTFE tube, whereas all metal hotends do not. Also, if your printer uses steel nozzles by default, you should not buy these and instead search online for steel nozzles, as these are brass and wear out more quickly than steel. br>br>Your printer will require that you install a specific length of PTFE tubing. The length of your tube should be determined by your printer's instructions. The standard 4mm OD PTFE tubes are compatible with these nozzles. br>br>For the price, this is a nice pack of brass MK10 nozzles, and all of the reviews for their various nozzle packs are gathered here. As a result, make sure you're reading a review for the nozzle pack you've chosen, as there are a variety of packaging options.

Just OK - The price, on the other hand, is very reasonable
3/5

These are functional, but the OD of the tips could be significantly reduced. They've included a "detail B" image in the description, which shows an OD of. 6mm. I've included an image that is representative of the 0. I received 4mm tips with an OD that appears to be closer to 1. 0 - (Are you familiar with the terms tolerances and schmolerances? )br>As I previously stated - They work, but there's a lot more space up there than is necessary, which can cause smears, drag marks, and other issues. The ones I'm using right now are still new and work fine. I'm interested in seeing how they develop over time.

However, it is not outstanding
4/5

Let me start by saying that I recently wrote and submitted a review, but upon closer inspection of my printer, I realized that I was a little harsh on Aokins nozzles. They're adequate, but not exceptional. The reason I say this is because the hole you drill to insert your tubing is a little too big. This creates a small air gap between your PTFE or Capricorn tube and your heat source, which means heat transfer isn't as efficient as it could be. Light could be seen coming through two holes in one of the nozzles I examined. Not a big deal considering how many you get for the price, but they could be improved simply by switching drill bits and making a smaller hole for a tighter fit.

It was a complete disaster
3/5

My dual- One of the nozzles on the head printer was clogged, while the other was working but was clogged with gunk. I figured I'd replace both nozzles at the same time because the left extruder nozzle was easy to replace, but the right extruder nozzle broke during installation, leaving half of the new nozzle stuck in the extruder threads with no easy way to remove it. It had done enough damage by the time I was able to get it out that the aluminum block would have to be replaced. br>br>I noticed that the filament was twisting out and curling after I loaded it for the successfully installed left nozzle (see photo). After doing some research, I discovered that this could be caused by a dirty nozzle, so I used a pull technique and a cleaning needle to clean the nozzle. Despite numerous attempts, neither method worked. I removed the nozzle in order to clean it, but there was nothing that needed to be cleaned. The nozzle was reinstalled, but the problem persisted. I was out of 0 at this point, so I assumed the nozzle had a manufacturing flaw. I ran out of 4mm nozzles (1 broke, 1 was defective), so I substituted a smaller nozzle, which was less than ideal but appears to work. Overall, I spent several extra hours of work and $30 in parts to repair the damage caused by the broken nozzle, and I still didn't get the nozzle I wanted.
