No, I wouldn't think it would be the best idea. There is one with plastic bristles that I would use
While I have not used it yet, I ordered Osborn 83101 Economy Curved and MAXMAN at the same time. I think the Osborn looks better because the brush part is a little wider and has a few more bristles, however both look good.
It is probably the best wire brush I have ever used in the world
You can absolutely do that! Perfect. I hope you have a good day.

It was extremely cheap however, I could not find a stainless wire brush American made, which was what I was actually looking for. It seems impossible to imagine how you can get all of this delivered for 6 bucks.
Since the one I have had for six years finally wore out, I bought two of them. There's one I use for cleaning metal parts in the shop, and one I use for grilling out on the deck. bristles on this brush are longer than those on my other grill brushes, so it cleans between the grill plates better than my other grill brushes. This purchase has been a great experience for me.
It took the rust remover I bought from Amazon to remove 95% of the rust. After removing remaining rust spots with this brush, I cleaned up with it. Although our tools were old, they were still in good condition. The plug in question is actually the second one to come As well as me, my husband experienced the same thing. In preparation for painting a tiny bread pan (4x6), I brushed its edge with a paint brush today. The picture shows a stainless steel plug that came out of the hole. A version of this was delivered April 6th, 21. This is my first brush and I've had it for less than 3 weeks, so I might ask for a replacement or find a better one.
The wires of the cheap plastic ones that fall out fall out of this one, so I'm using it on the gas grill instead. I have so far had no issues with it! If you position it sideways or at an angle, you can cover a lot more grill area very fast.
Cleaning rust from whiskey barrel hoops can be done with this. In addition to the bristles being sturdy, the brush is also durable. What I was looking for!.
My grill had been equipped with a plastic wire brush so I decided to replace it with this. In the plastic version, the wires were too easily broken off. My hamburgers are bad when they have steel wire inside them. A wooden brush like this one is highly durable and does not let go of the wire.
I use this to clear dried up grass under my deck on my tractor, and this reduces the amount of time and work it takes to clean the deck.
My needs are met with this product. Cleaning paint brushes with it was my favorite use for it.
