Is it just the drill that works? Does it work with a dremel?

There is no way to use 1/4 inch shanks with Dremel.

What are the appropriate uses for these Is it possible to remove scratches and dents from aluminum wheels, for instance? My question has to do with wood, as the description mentions it. ?

It may scratch the aluminum, so would not be recommended for this application. It would be a good idea for you to search Amazon for aluminum polishing kits

What is the fit of these on ?

There should be no problem fitting all drills as it is 1/4" round shank

Please let me know what the maximum is. Can I get these in a rpm? In a die grinder, are they able to be used?

From 8000 to 13000 depending on size. Absolutely, as long as your die grinder is capable of accepting 1/4 inch shafts or shanks, these can be used with a die grinder.

My experience so far has been limited to a few of them. Still, they seem to have been put together well. There is a wide variety of grits that I particularly enjoy. In a way, it's a - You can shop at one place. The heavy removal I need is all I need Sanding to a fairly fine texture. The sanding wheels are true to their name and I would certainly recommend them.

Flap sanding wheels can be used on tight spaces thanks to their smaller sizes. I believe the ones I have used are as good as or better than the ones I bought.

This was a hard task to find

It took a year to find such a thing. A finger pull hole small enough to fit through a 3 bedroom closet is in our vacation rental. Since the flap sander on a drill was unable to find pulls that were the right size, we used the drill's flap sander to make the hole big enough to hold The closet doors now have pulls in the holes after some time, but it was totally worth it!.

I found the product to be perfect

It did what it said it would. Despite searching the local hardware stores, I was unable to find the grit size and size in my preferred size. My worries about the quality of abrasives arrived quickly, and I got the job done well. Since I haven't ordered abrasives online before, I was concerned about receiving bad quality. A large grit rating on the bottom of the tub is a nice touch, as well.
