The one I used lasted 11 months when I ran it 5 days per week.
No, the 960 will not return to the dock to charge and continue to operate. It must be possible to complete the task on one charging. In the event that the 960 runs out of battery, it will shut down.
When I tried to use the low cost battery, I called it a bad experiment. The Rhoomba was recycled and I received a new one directly. I am using the original software without any problems
It doesn't appear that this battery has that model number.

Roomba 570 series. I bought this for my roomba 570 series. I need to reset it before charging the first time. It gave me an error code 5 when I tried charging it in my machine for the first time. In looking into it on Irobot's web site, it said that this was a common error message when people try to use a counterfeit Irobot To clarify my confusion, I went to YouTube to find some additional information. After finding out about the charge procedure, I reset my Roomba to its factory settings. Putting the new battery in and replacing the cover come first. Second, you should unplug the docking station from the power supply, but leave the power supply plugged in. The third and final step is to reset the roomba by holding down the dock and spot buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds until the green charge indicator light turns off. In a fourth step, plug in the power supply directly onto the side of the roomba (do not dock it). During the 24 hour charging period, let the robot charge In fifth place, unplug the roomba from the dock and plug it back into the power supply once you're finished. You can continue using it as usual. Battery life is excellent. I have not drained the battery yet, and I have used it for over an hour over the past 2 days.
(that's less than the two-year-old iRobot battery. I regret to inform you that it has passed the return period. Purchasing this battery would not be a wise choice.

An initial review has been made I found this battery to fit perfectly, and it worked well for 90 minutes after a cleaning test. I will update after some time. The battery I replaced lived about three years, which I find good for a $20 battery.
There are some Roomba models listed above that do not work with the battery. An error code 1 was received when I attempted to charge my card. After cleaning the battery terminals and resetting it, I cleaned the contacts. My request for help/advice was sent to GERIT BATT, and all I received was a sly smirk. The need for this is great. I was in the process of re-battering the original batter. I did notice that the replacement battery is lighter than the old one. Unlike the original, this one is without a plastic housing. I have been pleased with the battery life so far. This battery lasts about 50 minutes before it dies before the power goes out. 4. 6. 21. 7 Changed battery life to 50 minutes. The Roomba is used daily for at least an hour as expected. When it is used a second time, it is a 2 A dose of 3 times a day is recommended. Due to the fact that this battery is LIMH instead of Li-ion It lasted almost a year and a half, not so bad. While the original lasted almost four years, this one is no longer available. A Li-based solution may be of interest A substitute for OH would be OK.
I have found that the performance of this battery when installed in my 770 is superior to the iRobot OEM battery (3000 mAh). Our long shag style carpet takes a little over an hour to clean (top floor) and our hardwood floors take more than 2 hours to clean The purchase I made at this point is working well and I hope it keeps going well for a reasonable period of time. If anything changes, I will update this post.
I have ever seen a battery life that was worse than As a replacement for an old battery my roomba was running on, I noticed that this one does not last nearly as long as the one it replaced. The first time I ran it it lasted less than two hours. This is probably not a coincidence.
It seemed like the battery would work well, but it only lasted for a short time. Now it displays a green light. You would get a message that says "please charge roomba" if you started using it. A quick flash of amber light occurs once the reader is on the base. When it is steady green, it will take many hours. In other words, everything starts all I would have been able to return it within the return window if I had acted quickly. However, I was hopeful that it could be recharged and once again work. It was the 21st of May when I got it.
