My V11 is not compatible with these. It's about 1/4 to 1/2 inch The hoses are half an inch too long and if I tried to squeeze them into the gaps, I most likely would damage the vacuum. The difference between the two is clearly visible in the attached photo. The OEM seems to be the best option for me.

There may be a reason why some buyers report these don't fit the Dyson V11 I'm not sure. As far as I can tell. There are some people who are trying to put it in a V11 Outsize, which uses a different Dyson part number entirely. As a result, I unpacked the three boxes today (a 3-pack), and I tested each one with my Dyson V11 and they worked perfectly without any The same was noted by some other reviewers. Some of the 3rd party merchants here on Amazon are showing grossly overinflated pricing. These filters are definitely aftermarket and not a Dyson OEM reject or anything similar. If you scrutinize them closely you will see how they are indeed aftermarket. Comparing these to Dyson OEM filters, I believe the cosmetic workmanship on the Dyson ones is better. However, there are other factors as well. The filters have a life expectancy of several months, so they must be changed periodically. In this case, cosmetic work is not required. It is not worth the trouble to find out what the actual differences between these and the Dyson OEMs are. The wash and clean up don't seem to stand up to me, but I don't know how they hold up. However, I am being honest. I have always found Dyson filters to be a hassle to clean and wash. Thus, when my gloves get dirty, I simply replace them with new ones. With a 3 pack of these, you will easily last one year without cleaning and you will save more than paying for one Dyson OEM replacement filter.

A claim is made that it matches Dyson v11 Animal, but it does not. Will not screw on - if you have a version 11 Purchase these items at your own peril.

I have purchased this product, and it does not work very well. As the fit of the vacuum is not exact, the vacuum will give a warning about the filter when you use it. It basically requires that you move it around and pop it in and out several times until it realizes that the filter is in place. I recommend that you do not buy this product if it is not the original from Dyson. I DIRECTLY recommend you to go directly to the maker or get an OEM part.

As for how they get dirty, I think they do so Although these work well, I have noticed they become dirty faster than the original filters that were in the machine when it was brand new. After using these parts my v11 came off, and I had to figure out how to put them back on. I have not used it for a year, so I don't know if this had anything to do with it.

This set fits my V11 perfectly, and I'm very pleased with it The fact that these filters are made for large dogs is nice, since they tend to stink up a filter pretty quickly. I've noticed that the first one I've tried does seem to fit a little tighter than the original one, but I may be mixing up memories and it may just be a matter.

That's like seeing my vacuum for the first time. It has been eight months since we bought the thing, and I didn't realize these needed to be changed every two months. The canister filled up right away after the filter was installed due to how poorly it was performing before it. My experience with them cannot attest to how long it will last, but I would highly.
