Questions & Answers

The kit includes a dust brush, a 12in crevice tool, an upholstery tool, a wall mount, and a dust away attachment with a microviber?

They weren't the ones I got with my machine. The only ones I got were the 8" Crevice Tool, the Pet Multi-Tool, and the Spray Kit. A precision duster is also a tool. All of the attachments are the same as those for That's pretty frustrating, because I had expected to also receive the other attachments.

What should be done about hair that is stuck in the brushes during rotation?

You will need to remove the bottom piece. The counter should be placed with it. Let the plastic screws loose using a quarter. Taking off the cover is the first step. Use scissors to cut off all your son's hair from the roller (not mine). Once again, pull, pull, and pull. Afterwards, pull some more and it's as clean as a whistle. A vacuum cleaner like this is the best I have ever owned. A weight that I like is this one. The filter can be changed easily. Easily stored on the wall of a I no longer mind leaning it against things to stand it up because it becomes less bothersome as the years progress. I love how easy it is I am buying a second one and giving my son my 4 year old one. I forgot to mention that we have a dog and a This is an excellent purchase that you will not regret.

Most of you use the Shark Rocket as your MAIN vacuum or do you only use it on occasion (as a quick cleaning vacuum)? My only desire is to own ?

As a sole user of my Shark Rocket, I do not use any other device. Hard wood floors and carpets are both good candidates for it. Luckily, I only have an 8 by 12 area rug that has a medium pile and is a bit more challenging to clean. Thus, I just position the shark in front of me and pull it back to me as I position it. your carpet has a lot of shag, you might want to consider a different vacuum. As long as it's a small area, I will pick it up and place it facing me, then pull it toward me just like I would a broom. I have had my vacuum for about 2 years now (maybe more) and it is still performing well. With this product I can get under low surfaces and then use the wand to reach high areas without having to deal with Having enjoyed this product enough to purchase one for our church, I'm purchasing one for everyone in our ministry. Since I have my own vacuum, I usually bring it to the church to vacuum, since I can get under and around all the chairs easily, and I can vacuum by picking up the vac and moving it along the chair seats without straining

Is the carpet on the stairs still in good shape? When you use the vacuum, does it work as a Maybe I should take the pole out and shorten it, etc? I have the Shark Navigator and love it, but I’d like to get another Shark (this one) for upstairs and to make it easier for my carpeted stairs. (In other news, my Shark Navigator rocks! and am really excited to get my hands on it ?

If they have carpeted steps, they should be okay. A carpet's pile height will be determined by the type. As for the tight looped nylon carpet I have on my steps, it fits perfectly. Yes, I could remove the pole section and either use the motorized head or that straight nozzle piece to get into the tight spots. Remember when using the straight nozzle piece that this will not have the rotating brush action that helps loosen the dust and the vacuum's suction power will be required to achieve the desired results. As well as having difficulty getting into corners, using the motorized head also makes maneuvering around corners difficult. This is the challenge of vacuuming carpeted steps made up of short pieces. You cannot vacuum them with a full long push back and forth movement like you would for a carpeted floor to save cleaning time. It's not clear how this would work with cut pile carpets which some people use on their stairs, but I believe it would have the same effect.

There was a good and very convenient product - until the flexible tube on the pole snapped. As you can see from other reviews on here and from other people, Rocket replaced their entire vacuum line Customer service representative told me that my 5 year warranty will cover parts and that, if they do not have the part, they will replace the entire thing. However, the part I needed was not covered under warranty, so I had to pay out of pocket for the base (at a discount). My husband and I have had it for a couple months now, and we love As a result of our acquisition of , we bought The device has a cord, but I don't want to shell out $400 for a cordless stick vacuum that may or may not have the same power as this vac or a battery life of only 15 minutes per 4 hours of charging I need some time to relax

My husband and I have had it for a couple months now, and we love It's mostly used on our hardwood floors and our carpeted living room area because we recently got a puppy, and while her hair isn't really bad yet, we track grass and debris in from taking her outside so often, so we bought the scrub pad primarily for that reason. I was very pleased with my purchase of this product and I would recommend it to others as well. You can use it for a wide range of tasks, and it is powerful and convenient to store. He also does a great job cleaning our carpeted areas. Everyone I know who asks me about it will recommend it I am very pleased with my The first update is here. It's been 5 years and boy is still alive. It's funny how much he's grown up and how his hair is everywhere! Continually performing its task, this device ensures that the project stays on track My level of satisfaction is still exceedingly high.

It was a total disappointment to deal with their customer service! My experience with the product was very good until the motor stopped working six months after purchase

After contacting customer service three times, they would not address the issue. Our Shark vacuum is now in the landfill we won't be purchasing another product from them any more.

The warranty coverage is inadequate
3/5

I purchased the product on January 2, 2018 - used vacuum to clean the floor. An issue with the power head has been reported. I called Shark to check if my warranty was still valid. A manufacturer told me that the vacuum is covered by warranty for one year, but the power head is not. My new power head will cost me $49, which they offered me. of My response to him was that I considered this My shipping has been delayed as my boss finally agreed to send me a new power head. The best I can do is Make sure you read the fine print!.

There is no way I was right! This vacuum kit was in our rental house during our last vacation, and it worked so well that I bought one for myself, thinking it would be a good "in between" vacuum that was more powerful than the battery powered hand vacuum and was not as bulky as the actual vacuum storage case
5/5

That was a big mistake for me! Then, I put it together and gave it a trial run on my apparently clean office rug after I unpacked it and checked all the pieces (there were many extras). There was no time to mess around with it for more than a minute or a minute and a half before I emptied I was shocked to see how full it was! One handful of dirt and dust that it removed from my clean rug and a second handful of cat hair that I had been oblivious to. Although I don't obsess about cleaning, I like to think I keep the place neat, and I have the cleaning lady come once a week to give it a once over, so I am truly amazed at the results. However, the downside is that it fills up the smallish dirt compartment pretty fast because it works so well. The upside, however, is that it fills up the smallish dirt compartment pretty fast because it works so well.

It has not been SUCCESSED
3/5

It has been slightly over a year since I bought it (Dec 2016) and only began picking up a little bit of dust a few months later- There is no suction at all. Even though it wasn't very long-lasting, it was a good vacuum when it worked. I will not use it if the suction does not work. Otherwise, there would be a huge void. It was nice to switch from wooden floors to carpet and to have attachments- It does not work anymore, so it is no longer sucking. There is no way I can afford to replace my vacuum every year, and I doubt anyone else can. There's no reason for my vacuum bag to be full, so hopefully it's just my vacuum. It would be nice if the seller would offer a replacement.
