It was driving me nuts that I had no storage place for my shoes, and I often tripped over them. Initially, I wasn't sure if the storage pockets in the organizer would be large enough to accommodate my Crocs, but when I packed the shoes partially in the heel first, they fit perfectly. Similarly, I somehow managed to get two pairs of sneakers from the last two sets of pockets. Originally we bought this organizer to replace the old, tattered one we were using on the back of our bathroom door to hold various toiletries, because our bathroom is small and we don't have much storage space. There's not enough room in it to hold something really big, but it can hold makeup and shampoo bottles. In addition, we like how the pockets are clear, so if used to hold smaller items that cannot poke through the top of the pockets, you can still see what's inside. Even though it has only been used for just over a month, we think it will be durable and hopefully last for a long time with no pockets that tear (like our last one). But, we did not give this 5 stars because it is not easy to fit the organizer on the back of the door using the hooks included with it. Despite the fact that we filled the pockets with items that weren't nearly as heavy as 12 pairs of shoes, the organizer had become too heavy and pulled itself down enough that the hooks holding it up rose up and made it difficult to close. door hooks did not fully attach to There were two hooks at the back of the door on both sides of which did not even fully touch the door.
