I haven't decided yet. It's not plastic; instead, it appears to be a natural fiber similar to that used in some reusable shopping bags, but it's much thicker and stiffer. It's made of high-quality materials and will last a long time.

That's what I believe. I've carried my tuxedo and a long costume cape in it, and they're probably as thick as two dresses combined. There was a lot of space available.
That's what I believe. My dress was only slightly puffy, but I had a longer train, so we were able to fit everything in the bag. It will definitely need to be steam cleaned for the wedding, but for fittings and alterations, this bag worked perfectly!

I'm blown away by the quality. The fabric is nice and thick, not flimsy. Yes, you can see through the fabric a little bit, but if you're concerned about the groom-to-be, don't be. I don't think seeing the fabric silhouette will ruin the surprise (the dress is about you)! The loop at the bottom that allows you to fold it and hook it onto a hanger if you have limited closet space, as well as the additional pocket inside the bag, are two nice features I didn't expect.
I was concerned that it would be extremely thin and flimsy, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it is not. Although the fabric is light, it appears to be durable. My wedding gown has a long train, which I pinned up a little, but I was able to get it in the bag by myself, along with my underwear and veil, with no problems. I'm also a plus-sized woman who had no problems. I'm thinking about getting another one for my old prom gown.
The zipper is of good quality, the bag is light but sturdy, and the extra pockets are great for storing small accessories or extra buttons and sequins. I would strongly suggest it.
I was able to use the small zipper bag inside my dress for the removable straps I have for it that I'm still unsure if I'll use or not, but they were always getting moved around and this was the perfect spot for them. The bag is breathable, which is exactly what you're looking for. This will not work for you if you need a one-day garment bag that is plastic, waterproof, and so on. That isn't what it was made for. It's ideal for hanging in the closet for a period of time before or after the wedding, which is precisely what I required. My wedding is still a few months away, so I'm hoping it holds up well and doesn't stain my dress, but for now, I'm satisfied. When I'm finished using it, I'll be sure to update my review. At the moment, I'm giving it four stars.
I bought this garment bag in May 2020 to protect my wedding gown. After three months of use, I've decided to write a review. In conclusion, it does not appear that the material is water-resistant. It wasn't water proof or resistant, but it was big enough to comfortably fit the entire dress. If you think a storm or hurricane will result in roof leakage or minor flooding, wrap the garment bag in plastic wrap to keep the water out.
This garment bag/dress protector is extremely nice; it's of excellent quality and features two small pockets, one on the outside and one on the inside, for jewelry or other small items. I bought it to use as a backdrop for the dresses I'll be wearing at my two daughters' weddings. This bag holds both of my dresses. It is something I strongly suggest.
Quick shipping! My daughter's gown will be perfect in this. In terms of long-term use, Because it's brand new, I'm not sure. For long-distance travel, the cover, on the other hand, provided excellent protection for the gown. I would strongly suggest it!.
That's unfortunate. This was purchased in November to store my wedding gown in preparation for my May wedding. Only a few times have I opened it, and the zipper has just broken. Now 1. I need to reorder this item or find another garment bag to store and carry my dress in 5 months before I need to use it. It's a perfect fit for my ball gown and train, so I suppose I'll have to stick with this brand?.
