It will be the way you mount the shelf that will cause the problem. You can probably use anchors in sheetrock without having to worry about pulling it away from the wall with too You can probably hang the screen on studs or a well-mounted wood backing if it is well mounted. There is a problem with the picture. The curved ends of the shelf should face down rather than up when it is hung. In the picture, it looks like the shelf will pull out and down. If you attach it as shown, then the weight of your items will pull out and down on the shelf. You will need to secure it well to the wall in order to prevent it from falling. There was a need for another shelf in our laundry room and this one met the need perfectly. I have no complaints about There is only one complaint I have I didn't know how much it was supposed to cost, because the vendor simply ordered it from Walmart. com and sent it to me. I would have been able to buy it for less than $14 if I'd known the vendor doubled the price. A law should be in place to prohibit this. As a customer, I find it disappointing that Amazon bailed out a vendor like this. The products I buy from ZDeals in the future will be different from those I buy now.
An excellent shelf with a wide range of uses. As there is a small rail you simply go through to attach the screws, it is easy to put up. To make it stronger, even though plastic anchors come with it, I put toggle bolts in instead. It took only five minutes to complete.
Using a small level, I mounted this shelf on my closet wall myself without any trouble. Although I wasn't expecting to hit studs on both sides, I was surprised that I did! In spite of the fact that they were meant to go into drywall anchors, the screws that came with the shelf were not quite long enough to reach the studs. It is important to keep in mind that the shelves' side bars are 24 inches apart. I was expecting to get a measurement of 24 inches from one outer bar to the next, but it's not what I got.
