Questions & Answers

Is it true that I will be receiving six hangers?

No, only two hangers were given to me. Purchase these items at your own risk!

Is there a reason why the clamp hangers are made with a plastic piece in the middle instead of metal as they used to be? I can't seem to locate any that are suitable?

The good ones are available from "The Great American Hanger Company," but if you search (2. 2019) Currently, Amazon only has 100-packs in stock. Be aware that they also have the shoddy ones with the broken plastic piece, but the ones packaged in smaller lots should be restocked soon. I've been anticipating your arrival for quite some time. I may have to go straight to the vendor, as I don't think I need 100 pant hangers, and if I did, I'd need a much bigger closet! 😉

After 15 minutes, the majority of my pants had fallen off the hangers. Summer dress pants slid right through and landed flat on the floor. When I first hung them up, heavier khakis appeared to be fine, so I figured I could pair them with some of my other pants. No such luck; the heavier clothing was piled at the bottom of the closet. I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble of returning it or if it's just easier to throw it away.

The quality is poor
3/5

These go well with the white tubular hangers I have in my closet, but the quality is so poor that I'll have to look for another option. These are inconvenient to use because clothes frequently fall to the floor. Because of the following reasons:
1. The prongs that attach to the plastic occasionally come loose, causing your clothes to fall to the floor.
2. The clamp is too loose to hold a single pair of pants - They'll be able to get away with little effort. I hang two pairs of pants on each hanger to keep them in place, but they still slide out if you bump or brush against the clothes that are hanging. They fall to the ground once more - When you're in a hurry, it's a real pain. When you need to use one of the two pairs, you'll have to figure out a different way to get the other to hang - I sometimes double the hems to make the fabric thicker and keep them in place.
3. The hangers' hooks protrude from the plastic to which they're attached. Clothes are strewn about the room once more. The hook can sometimes be screwed back into the plastic part, but you're out of luck if the plastic threads have been stripped due to too much weight, pulling, or normal wear and tear. Unless the hanger can be hung without the hook, it is no longer functional. I've got two of these that I'm going to put on a shelf. the- door 4- coat rack with hooks Without the hooks, it's not very useful. improvising with over-the-top-of-the-top-of-the-top-of- the- I can hang some pants on my door with the help of a door rack. They won't fit in my closet with the rest of my belongings.
4. They're big and bulky, so they take up a lot of space on the clothesline. That doesn't bother me because I prefer a little breathing room between my clothes. Especially since each hanger has to hold two pairs of socks.

Don't buy them because they are ineffective
3/5

These break easily, as many other reviewers have noted, and are then unfixable. I wanted to add some to my collection so that I could hang more skirts, but a couple of them arrived broken and unable to support anything - When the black plastic part breaks, the white hanger sides are rendered useless. I wish I could find the version with the black plastic piece made of metal, as I have many old ones.

These hangers appear to be a good replacement for the Tamor brand, which is no longer available
3/5

These hangers are not something I would recommend to my worst enemy! br>When I first used it, I thought I'd found the perfect pant hanger; However, I've found that using these hangers is so inconvenient that I'm discarding them.
1. They won't be able to hold light-weight clothing. They'll pull out and fall to the floor with the slightest swishing along side them as I remove other pants.
2. Even more aggravating, the hook part of the hook comes off when you open it to insert the pant legs, leaving you with nothing to tighten. It's nearly impossible to grasp the missing hook, replace it where it belongs, and then tighten it up while holding the pant legs into the hanger. The issue is with the small black connector. It's made of plastic and isn't connected to the hanger. br>Aside from that, they're smooth and look nice.

It's simple to break! These are the hangers I use for my slacks
3/5

Within two weeks, two of them had broken at the plastic hinge. The hinge is where the pants are held in place by their stress point. Previously, the metal clamp and the hinge were joined together. These are flimsy, and the other four aren't likely to last much longer.

Be on the lookout for something that isn't quite right
3/5

These hangers should not be purchased. I had previously purchased these and found them to be effective. We ordered more, but every time we use them, the hook portion falls completely off the hanger. It's like attempting to put together a difficult puzzle. "AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT!" as Sweet Georgia Brown once said. "I'm willing to give the seller a second chance. " I've asked for hangers to be replaced. When I receive them, I'll update my review. UPDATE: The hangers that were replaced were also defective. The hook part of the hanger separates from the rest of the hanger, and putting it back together takes an eternity. This must be done each time the hanger is opened. This is a complete waste of time. My money was refunded by Amazon, and these items will be discarded.

As a result, it has been marked as useless
3/5

These, as others have stated, have no staying power. I put four pairs of men's pants through their paces. four of these, one on each. I walked ten feet and all four of them fell out and to the ground. I have other hangers of this general style from other companies that work fine, but these have proven to be completely useless.

I'm having trouble holding on to my heavy pants
3/5

I purchased these a few months ago and was very pleased with them when they arrived. They appeared to be well-made and engineered, with a smooth clamping mechanism. The issue is that I am a size LXXX, and my casual and dress pants are significantly heavier than smaller sizes. They can't be held up by these hangers; They get caught in the clamp and fall to the floor of the closet. I was able to get around this by purchasing plastic coated clips separately and attaching them to the pants above the hanger. In short, given all of the positive feedback, I'm guessing most people are satisfied with these hangers. I wish I could have been there with them. I'm going to replace them with Organize. com's non-slip bar pants hangers. (This is based on Amazon's ratings. ) The versions provided by com did not appear to be very trustworthy.
