A piece has been broken. Please click here to read the rest of this article. I wouldn't recommend that pregnant women over 30 weeks assemble this crib themselves, as it's not the best choice for pregnancy. We had to have two people for some steps to be completed by my husband. A part of the crib is chipped, but other than that, it seems like a good purchase. The clock is ticking and at this point it is too late to send it back since I could pop any moment and there has been too much time invested. There had been other reviews about pieces that were chipped, so I knew it was possible. Our next step will be to sand it down and smooth it out. I am so glad we have the drawer to store extra items, as we have a one-bedroom It was great to see the changing station, as well as how big the cubbies below the changing station are.
It appears to be a durable product. In the end, two locations showed signs of damage upon assembly. Damage did not appear to be severe, but there was some. It was not until all materials were unpacked, inventoried, and partially assembled that the damage became apparent. Considering the damage was not severe at this point, and given the fact that we couldn't pack it back in the feable cardboard packaging it arrived in, we decided to continue. In addition, it was noted that the drawer at the bottom was preinstalled with the hardware facing up instead of down. In order to install it correctly, it needed to be removed and then reinstalled.
Right now, it is unknown whether it will hold up over time or not. An update will be provided.
As soon as we found out that we were expecting, we bought this crib so that we could set up the nursery quickly. As of yet, the baby has not arrived, but we have prepared the crib. It was great to see that our crib was so well made for the money. My husband put it together without any difficulty. Despite its weight, it is extremely durable. We are happy we decided to go with this crib instead of others on Amazon. The reason this isn't 5 stars is for a few reasons We would prefer if the changing table could be installed on the other side, 2) it hasn't been used yet, and 3) the size of the changing table is odd It would be nice if I could get a cover, but I may just make my own.
Storkcraft has been a very unfortunate experience for me. Yeah, that's good. I hope my last purchase is here. The crib was broken when I received it. While it is 100% understandable, after talking to customer care it certainly is a long way to go for a part, and there are no such things as understanding customer inconveniences, nor the value of time. Bought it as a gift for her, and we ended up buying her another one when she had another. The only negative thing I can think of about this is that it is so beautiful. In the end, they were able to use the one without the changing table to save room since I bought her the one with the changing table the second time when she didn't need it.
When receiving a product like this it looked awesome on the website, but when it arrived, most people immediately started searching for the instructions. Each box comes with instructions all the way on the bottom of the springs after you open it up from the top. I found the installation process to be quite straightforward. In examining parts, it was apparent that there were a number of scratches, dents, and manufacturing flaws. There's no way for me to say if it was because of the delivery or the packaging.
We have little trouble with it.
A beautiful crib that is well worth the money. It is a very sturdy and premium crib, looking forward to using it with our baby soon!.
