The gasket looks nice and beefy

I was very pleased with everything. A couple of modifications improved the seal dramatically. The included gasket was too thick, but with a few adjustments, it fits like a glove. The fireplace has a coal bed now, so I can pack it at night, and there are coals in the morning. We used to wake up to ashes in the mornings. In short, the gasket, when it is wrapped around with half-rounds, is sealed It wouldn't lie flat against the frame on the CW2900, with one half inside and the other half outside. was too wide by a hair to get past some of the brackets on the side, and the screws were too thick to attach it to. With a little longer screws and thin gasket to cover the metal brackets that secure the glass to the wall, I covered the thick outside gasket with the thin one that I got. The most basic way to do this would be to just cut the areas that were too thick or even order a thinner gasket. There are probably 20 other ways to do this.
